I went through the 2025 Maverick Windwo Stickers Are Live! Get Yours Yet? thread and did a quick and dirty tally of people's 2025 color choices based on what I could see from the window stickers and people's signatures. Eruption Green is stupidly far out in front with everything else a distant second. That hardly proves anything though. Does anyone have any source for any official information as to the color choice stats., either from Ford itself or from one of the dealerships on here?

I chose Eruption Green because I thought it was one of the prettiest colors on here (my second choice being Desert Sand, and my third choice being a tie between the Velocity Blue and Ruby Red). and because it was a this-year-only-color. I never realized just how popular it would be.
It’s probably the only decent color they’ve ever offered.

I've got an orphan on my hands as Ford did away with the Alto Blue Metallic. Is it blue or is it black ?
There's the Antimatter Blue Metallic on the F-150 . . .

but I couldn't see myself driving a green truck for 10+ years,
I acquired my father's '98 green metallic F-150 a few months ago; he bought it new and drove it for 25 years until a bad hip made it too hard to get into.

(OK, and like pretty much 100% of those in that color from that period, he had to have the faded paint redone after a few years.

That is a lot of Mavericks. You should get one of each color so you can rotate which one to drive, depending on your mood... .
I have a friend with three Cadillac XLRs (the corvette-like thing from a couple of decades ago--but far easier to get into). Each a different color, and she always dresses to match the one she's driving!

As for the maverick, I took my wife to look at colors, and she, to both of our surprise, choose the blue over the eruption green. And then I found out they changed for '25, so I had to take her to look again, and she still chose the blue, but it cost me about $50 for lunch at the Mustang Sally diner on that dealer's lot . . .

so we have a 2/6 week build for a blue one.

oddly, the F-150 still has atlas blue for '25, for lariat and lower.

Velocity Blue here. I wanted the Hot Pepper Red. Love that orange color. But not for 2025 so Velocity Blue it is. Wife loves it.
My first two Mavericks were VB. The first one was a '22 hybrid XL that a customer couldn't take delivery on due to stage 4 cancer. It was a base model with the spray on bed liner and a trifold, hard top tonneau cover. A few months later, a '22 VB hybrid XLT with the lux pkg, but no CP360, became available when the customer decided to buy a Ranger instead. I traded in the XL for the XLT and put the tonneau cover on the XLT. I had ordered a '22 VB hybrid XLT with the lux package and CP360, but my order was pushed back and later canceled by various delays and constraints. On 27 Oct 22, a HPR hybrid Lariat with the lux pkg and CP360 became available, so I traded in the XLT for the Lariat with all the bells and whistles. That's what I still have today, as the '23 model I had ordered was also canceled. I love the HPR color just as much as I loved the VB color!

I respect everyone’s color choices. I picked Oxford White.
I can tell your age by your color choice. When I was growing up in the 70’s green was a popular color. And when I think of a green car, I always remember this. -which is why I did not pick green for my Mav.

Always had the choice not to order one lol.
I love the Maverick's exterior design (particularly with the 2025 refresh), size, and functionality. That's why it disappoints me so much that the colors are boring and the interior is so ugly and cheap. I wanted one the first year, but the interior held me back. I kept thinking they would change it in the coming years. They didn't, but the addition of the hybrid/AWD finally pushed me to get one. I'm a retired designer/art director, so I have a LOT of opinions about color and design, but I'm old, so they're mostly cranky opinions.

Looks like the AMC Pacer car. I loved the commercials that showed that another vehicle could drive up into it's vast cargo area. They even had camera magic back then. I also vaguely remember that they affectionately called this vehicle a sandwich car, but don't remember why.

The concept was interesting: a wide-bodied compact. It was a compact car that could sit three people across. That just gave it an awkward appearance.

It was and interesting concept and sold really well the first couple of years but bad build quality ended up biting AMC in the butt. The passenger door was actually larger so people could get in and out of back easier. All the glass gave it great visibility when driving but the greenhouse really heated up the car in the summer. The failure of the Pacer and the 2dr Matador really sealed the fate of AMC, not to mention the purchase of Jeep. Jeep really didn't take off till Chrysler purchased AMC.

I owned the cousin to the Maverick, the Mercury Comet. My first car. Would love to own it again.
That LTD was a real boat. Rode like one too and pretty popular.
Lots of steel in those older cars.

When the wife and I were dating, she was driving a Mercury Comet. If I remember right, it had a 305 V8. Lot's of giddy up for a small vehicle. Wished we could have kept it longer but it started to leak oil pretty bad. When a car does that it's outta here.
