I'm paying $407 every six months through State Farm. Full coverage, $500 deductible. I don't know how that compares with others, but I've had State Farm insurance on cars/home for 35 years, and they've always been great with any claim.
I'm due for the 15,000. The oil doesn't need changed yet (already had one change), what else do they do? Fix the recalls? I got a letter saying they had a software patch for the park/prawl problem.
In the second paragraph of your post you ask "What's everyone's opinion?" I gave you my opinion, and an educated analysis of why I thought it was a bad idea. Also, an engineer and a designer are different things. I am a retired designer, and have 40 years experience making judgement calls on how...
I think it's odd to undo what professional designers have given a considerable amount of time and thought to. The pillars are black to unify the windows and create a single horizontal element that suggests movement. Taking the black away creates a vertical "stop," and what was once a single...
I find the seats a bit too small as well, particularly the width. Thigh bolsters would be very nice. I'm 200 lbs., and 5'10", so I don't think it's me.
I feel the same way about Navy Pier, which is unfortunate because I love everything else about the Mav. The BAP definitely helped by getting rid of the clown accents, but I still hate NP. Totally agree with Carlitos about the coarse textures as well. They seem to hold onto dust. My daughter got...
Through the summer, I averaged a solid 38 mpg with a wide mix of driving conditions, but as it's gotten colder (south central OH), I'm seeing it drop to 30-35. I understand that's normal because the battery doesn't work as well in the cold, and the engine runs more.
Yes, my 25 XLT updated successfully, and now brake coach has appeared again (I had disabled it as well). It seems to only randomly work, rather than consistently though.
I bought the extended warranty (still regretting it, but maybe it will come in handy), and it was my understanding that if you didn't do the 5,000 mile services at the dealer, they would null the warranty (?).
Well, not so much a review as general thoughts at the 4,000 mile mark. I'd wanted the Maverick since its debut, but like many people, I was disappointed you couldn't get it with the AWD/Hybrid combo. When I saw it would be available in the '25, I placed my order.
I went with the XLT AWD/Hybrid...
I haven't noticed much wind noise, but I've been in 3 heavy rain storms, and the rain hitting the windshield seems MUCH louder than other cars I've been in. One shower was deafening! I have a 2025 XLT, but beginning to wish I'd gotten the Lariat.
Deactivating the seatbelt chime through the Mav is one of those "do these 8 steps then throw salt over your shoulder while doing the hokey-pokey" instructions. I hate those. You also have to do it for each seat you want deactivated (as I'm reading it). I don't care about reprogramming the baby...
My dog riding shotgun occasionally causes the seatbelt chime to go off. Has anyone used a seatbelt silencer? Just want to make sure the one I get fits. What I'm looking at...
