Then why are the replacement upgraded axles significantly longer? You can throw shit on it all you want but all you've done is question me without providing any sort of proof.

If the length of the CV axle is not an issue - why did Ford make it longer?
If the new ones are slightly longer, it is not clear that this change is any part of the fix. They could easily be a part from another vehicle that just happens to fit, and the extra length does not cause any interference issues. Like I stated, I want to see some pics of failed halfshafts with the stripped or twisted splines showing that they were too short. I'm betting that nobody can show them damaged like that.

If only you chose to look through some of those links I posted. You can lead a horse to water but you can't make them drink.

No the sky is not falling.
But I think you are lying.
All of the 22 through 24’s have the same axle. And they will all fail.
It’s not like some were made different than Others.

Well I wouldn’t calm him a liar.
I know of quite a few with very high mileage with zero issues. But we know some have failed early.

Yes, now they will be. Until about 6-8 weeks they were not and for awhile there was a parts shortage during transition.
I am seeing a back order for the new ones, Anyone know currently the wait time on them?
Seems that some dealers may want a set sitting and ready to go.

I see a lot of ‘24’s at discounted pricing in my area. Do the ‘24’s have axle issues , or was that fixed ? The ‘25’s are improved in various ways , so would it be better to spend more and get a ‘25 ?
Zero issues on my '24 except for a backup camera recall which was fixed in my driveway.

Was it under warranty or customer satisfaction program? 🤔
The person posting noted his was a MY23. The customer satisfaction program 25N09 for CV axles only covers certain build dates (Dec 1, 2021 thru Nov 23, 2022) on MY22 trucks unless ford ever decides to extended it to additional date ranges and/or model years.

Ford has a 5 yrs / 60k miles powertrain warranty that covers the CV axles.

yep i agree, I assumed the guy making the earler post was maybe a little over the 60K mark. If it was 60 or under it should have been warranty. My wife had a chevy tahoe once years ago, the entire ac system went out, seriously like 15 miles beyond the 3/36k warranty and chevy would not cover it under warranty. One top of that the sunroof started leaking water into the onstar system in the overhead console 2 week later. Needless to say, I traded that piece of crap shortly thereafter.
