My Maverick seems to go into battery savers mode way too often. I might drive it one day turn it off and it immediately goes into battery saver mode.. what’s going on here?

Your battery needs a charge. I have a good quality battery extender but don't know where to plug it into under the hood, or why i wouldn't just connect it to the battery under the seat. If this could be explained it would be appreciatedYour battery needs a charge. Get a NOCO or other battery maintainer and periodically leave it connected overnight to the jump points under the hood - driver's side. It will eliminate your issue and also greatly extend the 12v battery lifetime.
You can connect it under the rear seat… just be sure to connect to the body ground, not the negative terminal. I use a quick-connect at the jump points under the hood. With the hood up while charging, I never forget to unplug before I drive the truck again.You can connect it under the rear seat… just be sure to connect to the body ground, not the negative terminal. It’s quite easy to make a simple harness for permanent installation. There is an unused positive post on the positive battery connector (just under the red plastic cover) and several body grounds nearby. See below for an example:

Use some loom tape to protect the wires and give the harness a factory look. Make sure there is an inline fuse near the battery connector to protect against an accidental short. The charger connector can just hang out under or beside the rear seat, readily accessible when needed.
