2022 Maverick Hybrid Canadian Order

I heard our neighbours down south have stopped taking orders since November, is that the same with Canadians? I spoke to a few dealers locally and they all mentioned 4-6 month wait list. Are they pulling my leg or have we just not reach allocation yet?

Might be a long wait. People in Canada who ordered Hybrids in August just started getting them. I'd be suprised if there were more than 50 Hybrids in Canada yet.

Reserved Canadian quota has not been reached yet. Automotive press up here haven't even test driven a hybrid yet.

At dealership yesterday to check on my FE order, bought a Hybrid XLT. Don’t know if I made the right move but I will drive it till my FE arrives than sell XLT HYBRID. Told guy couldn’t get financing and sales said no others can order so it will be in high demand

That's exactly what I did last year, got the Ram, drove it a few months, sold for a huge profit

This factors in from what people have said. One of the reasons I went a bit more bare bones, but it hadn’t helped so far- OCT, no VIN.

I checked with my dealer today and he gave me my confirmation order, VIN number and tentative build date. I ordered on November 8th and the scheduled build date is March 14th.
