I’m coming up on 2 years with my ‘22 XL Hybrid. I will also echo many of the comments. I am coming up to 40k mileage with no issues.
The Good:
Fuel mileage has far exceeded the EPA ratings. I’m at about 44mpg average.
Plenty of usable power for most daily use. I’ve never really felt wanting for power for my commute.
The utility for a smallish truck. I done multiple dorm and apartment moves for my kids . Numerous multi-state runs ( my daughter is currently using it for a move to TN). I carted needful of mulch, deck tiles and flat boxes from IKEA will still averaging over 40mpg.
The Not so good:
Multiple recalls ( to be fair I haven’t done a single one yet). I will get them done all at once when I can leave it the dealership.
occasional grabby brakes/clunk issues at parking lot speeds. Hopefully the TSB will fix that issue.
Thin Paint- not just a Ford or Ford Maverick issue these days. It seems most new cars are doing more with less paint.
Front Seats are good but not great . I have some back issues and am sensitive to car seat design. Considering I put a deposit on this sight unseen and waited 11 months, I can live with that.
Final 2 Year thoughts:
This is an extremely good all in one vehicle. I does my mindless commute thing well. It does suburban hauling duties . It return excellent mileage for day to day use with a comfortable ride.
