Had about 50 miles left until empty. Round trip to work is 34 miles. Went about 15 days between fill ups. Big change from my GT Mustang lol.

Gotta love the mileage. I have to remember how to do the reset at fillup, it is so long between gas station stops!

Wow, I have the same model and I don't foresee getting anywhere near that mileage. You must be really adroit at feathering the accelerator and watching your speed. Very impressive indeed.

That's right at what I am getting as well with a combination of highway and local driving.

I have a '24 hybrid and since AC season ended my average has gone up to 48 average in mostly suburban driving. Made a 50 mile trip in very heavy traffic to Chicago and I was surprised to see 52mpg for the trip.
I'm very easy on the throttle/ brake and try to avoid hitting the red lights, even if the buttholes behind me are determined to race up to them. I know milage will get worse in the winter but still.
Highway speeds will bring it down too.

Very nice 👍

Ours is the same model as yours. We've had ours a month and put 2571 miles on it with an average 37.5 MPG. A fair amount of elevation changes as most of our trips were in the foothills of the Cascades and it does rain a lot.

Love the hybrid. I measure my fill ups in weeks rather than days.
25MY hybrid here, AWD. Upon arrival at gas station I press on the fuel fill door to release, nothing. Then remember the fuel tank unlock is a pusbutton near headlight switch. Return to driver's side, open door, now to locate the button to press. It's been so long, haven't used enough to commit to memory. Yea!

Members claiming to average 40-45+ for the life of their truck really need to post Fuelly numbers to back it up.

I have never driven a vehicle so modestly in my life. Granted I use it for a base when camping and at tournaments that has a negligible impact on the bottom line.

Through almost 11k miles I’m at 34mpg on the dot. There is no way folks are getting 20-30% better mpg over the long term.

I feel the Maverick hybrid can be tough to measure depending on how you use it. If you use it as a truck, then those times will drag down the lifetime average very quickly.

My lifetime (about 9500 miles) average is 37.1 mpg; and on the 13" screen it's 38.9 mpg (I think that's for the last 2000 miles?). What kills my gas mileage is when i throw 3 kayaks on the roof and drive 70 mph on the highway, which then gives me hundreds of miles at 26 mpg (still great as that's what our Sienna gets on the highway). Or pulling a trailer with about around 3/4 cord of green wood (so about 3000 lbs with trailer), which gives me about 25 mpg (still great as that's better than the Sienna gets around town!). If I used it like my Prius v (i.e., no kayaks on roof and no pulling trailers), I'd probably be around 39 mpg lifetime average, which is fantastic!

This is my trip info thru Ohio on I80 to I76 to I71 (rural hwy from Ashland to Pleasant Hill Lake overnight - back to Bellville).
Fillup at Hubbard, and next fillup Richmond IN exit, but back up road to OH line and cheaper gas, so all thru OH. GPS showed 5 mph above speed limit. Red is pump calculated.
Little of Ashland for dinner, otherwise hwy of some sort 55mph and mostly well above. Seemed rather flat - like KS - where I struggle to get over 40 mpg in summer, and HVB not often above 50%.
But I was still surprised it was this good - must have been down hill mostly, and somehow little wind.

Dude. Quit complaining.
Either you have bad gas, bad tires, bad weather or drive too fast.

When not towing anything I go 700+ miles between gas station visits.

Sometimes it's 704 miles.
Sometimes it's 754 miles.
But almost always 700+.

I know my tank is 16.5 gallons. Not 13.8 and in the big city I have a station on every corner so I'm not risking anything by burning 14.5 gallons typically.

I'm in mild weather and do darn near 50/50 city and hwy. On the hwy I have some sections of 55 MPH and some sections of 65 MPH posted limits. I usually keep it under 67 MPH.

You should try it some time.
HWY is about 40 MPG.
City is about 60 MPG for me in my truck in my conditions with my area's gasoline blend.

YMMV

I can show you 200 days IN A ROW JUST LIKE THIS ONE.

Unfortunately you can't divide miles by time.

The clock runs from key on to key off.
Includes at least 20 minutes of standing still each time.
And crawling getting out of work parking lots; etc.

I'm going 55-65 MPH half of the time.
Standing still a lot of the time.
Going on 35 & 45 MPH roads the balance.

You know. REAL LIFE CONDITIONS.

Ask yourself: what fraction of the miles are Electric miles?

My city segments are 75% maybe 80% electric.

Highway more like 5% or 10% electric.

I think people getting under window sticker are not using their HV battery much. If that's you, you are carrying around dead weight much of the time. Carrying around a highly charged battery leaves little room for regen. But you'll never know without additional instrumentation.

I have an OBDII reader plugged in full time. Does this help me get higher than EPA stated gas mileage? You bet it does.

IS THERE a lane on the fwy for that? 😁

Seriously... i dont think all people are complaining by posting a lower mpg experience that is different than some people posting higher mpg.
There's a reality in how the vehicles are driven differently.

Thats it.
