I priced a XLT hybrid about 2 weeks ago wrote price down $24070 with 3 options Full size spare, hitch and manual slide window, Now just now 7-11-22 $25225. I wonder will the 2023 go up even more?

They are doing fine, they are just seeing the dealerships making more profit than they have in decades and they want a piece of that pie too, as they figure if there are suckers paying $2K over MSRP then obviously the MSRP isn't high enough:

• Ford Motor gross profit for the twelve months ending March 31, 2022 was $20.199B, a 15.26% increase year-over-year.
• Ford Motor annual gross profit for 2021 was $21.69B, a 50.71% increase from 2020.

Last I checked I can't pick up the Maverick directly from the factory, skipping the $1,495 destination charge I'm forced to pay, so it was never really a $19,995 vehicle anyway.

I suspect this increase reflects, in no small way, the crazy increase in Lithium prices over the past year. Up around 450% in a year's time alone. Ford has to be paying a lot more money for those little 1.1 kWh batteries.

Of course only having one operational mine in the USA, Nevada, does not help the situation any.
