Ordered a 2023 Lariat Lux Hybrid with pretty much all the goodies except the moonroof on 9/16/22 and picked up 9/15/23 so exactly 1 year wait. Paid MSRP minus $500 farm bureau credit I received from being a member through my insurance company. The dealer said Ford should honor the price protection so maybe I’ll get some money back from that. I feel lucky because my dealer said some people from the the same dealer are still waiting over 24 months for theirs. I wasn’t in a hurry since I have other back up cars available. Once I got the build date it took about a month to arrive to Oregon.
My first impressions are positive and the Lariat seats are very comfortable. I need to figure out the copilot 360/lane assist buttons as they are different than the wife’s car. I like the break hold but dislike that it doesn’t default to eco mode. I plan to get a tonneau cover soon. It‘s been 20+ years since I had my 87’ Mazda B2000 so looking forward to having a small pickup again. Cheers!
