I understand everyone's circumstances are different, but why is everyone so impatient these days?
What happened to people planning or budgeting and making things last so when they do get a new vehicle they don't impluse buy because they have to.
My Ranger was totalled in 2013 and I saved 500 a year in cash, made our 07 yaris last, and saved. Heard the maverick came out, ordered and patiently waited. I did maintenance I could do myself to save more money. Hell a spot in the rocker on the yaris began rusting and i sanded it and spray painted a close matching black just to stop it worsening. And I stayed patient. Now I have my maverick, and guess what, I still have our 07 yaris because I had 8500 in cash down because I saved everywhere I could. It's amazing having brand new vehicle with a 305 monthly payment, unheard of in 2022.
My point is people, what ever happened to being happy and taking pride/care in what you have and being a little patient? If we all lived within our means, financially we'd most often be fine and able to wait for a Maverick. Outside of a car accident there wouldn't be a need for this gotta have it now syndrom taking the world by storm.
TL;DR I'm just old fashioned, sorry.
