My order was sent yesterday, and it should arrive by next Friday.
Seems the price keeps bouncing around - which is part of why this seems so scammy. Did you pay $3k or how much?

Apparently now it is down to $1500???

I paid $3k. We'll see what I will receive. I will post photos when it arrives.

I tried that with another car.
Another thing that puts out a lot of heat and into a tablet is the OEM screen. It can be turned off, but that gets old doing this.

Gotta love the screen and bracket clearly not meant for each other.

LOL at the price going from $2k to $3k if you change the shipping time from 30 days to 7 days.

So all we have in this video is an assortment of components on a table in China (note the outlet in the upper left corner), following more *ahem* "lifted" content, namely the video of the white Maverick XL on a dealer lot, which came from someone who has already sold the vehicle...

The text and the physical parts shown in pictures/video claim 12", as found in F-150, Bronco, etc., but they continue to use the mockup from an Explorer media render with a 13.2" screen, which is what is found in 2023+ Escape, 2025+ Maverick and Bronco Sport...
The video shows a Maverick XL. With Sync 2.5...And that KIT could only work on Maverick with Sync 3 (Lariat, Tremor, etc).

That screen is the one that the Ford Transit has (the one I bought to do the same thing).

Holy crap! :D
Glad you didn't get fleeced.

I am not in any way in the market for this upgrade, but if you post your progress, this is going to be an awesome thread to follow.

This thread seems to be misleading as it says it's for the sink for 13.2 in screen upgrade, whereas it's for the sink 12-in screen which looks odd to me in the Maverick.

I believe when this first started it listed the bigger screen on the website and has since changed. Much like the price has gone from $3k to $4k to $1.5k and bounced around. I am surprised it showed up, really curious to see it work now.

As I'm sure we're all curious as to how it will work and if it will.

I wonder if that unit's capable of adding a serious XM tuner, That's that and the reverse sensors are the only thing I wish my XLT had it doesn't. I do however use the Sirius XM app with Android Auto it would just be nice to have the tuner built into the truck.

Can you upload a photo showing the screen and sync code? I think the screen is the 12" one from the Transit.

If you can 3D scan that piece of black plastic, I think I know how to do all that for a lot less money.
