U.S. residents only. Take new retail delivery from an authorized Ford Dealer’s stock by April 4, 2022. Contact your authorized Ford Dealer for complete details and eligibility.
Nope, not all veterans. US Army, Vietnam Veteran 1970 and Ford says I’m not their type of Veteran. Ford can kiss my old gray Honorable Discharge. Ford Communication sucks except in this instance.. crystal clear Ford is guilty of age discrimination.

I've been out for 35 years. I did the whole id.me thing and Ford came back and said that I was ineligible because I'd mustered out more than TWO years ago. Don't know how @Lunysgwen gets $500 when he's been out four years.

As a previous poster said, I find this recent vet thing pretty insulting. If the intent is to honor vets, then how's an old vet different from a new one? On the other hand, maybe the idea is to attract young buyers to Ford, in which case they don't want/need to incentivize me. In that case, it's insulting to claim they're "honoring vets."
Totally with you on this and I feel like it's only something vets would understand. I had a huge argument at a restaurant one year because they wouldn't give a free meal to a vet on vets day, only active duty. WTF is the point of honoring vets if it's only lip service. We never went back. Sucks they're fucking people like this

When I asked i was told I'd been out too long. Perhaps that was a different promotion since I don't recall a two month window like this one.

Then again I can't purchase what the haven't made, so the time restraint alone leaves me out. This offer will be long expired before I ever see my truck.

Looks like the amount depends on your Zip Code. I get a $500 certificate.

I went to the website and was only offered the $500 rebate, I guess the $1,000 isn't available in my area/region. I do think it's sad that there's a time requirement for veterans, once a vet always a vet and it's a huge slap in the face to Vietnam Veterans given what they endured during and upon returning home from war. Ford may not care but Welcome Home boys!

I put this in a related thread. Some people may be having problems with ID.me, not Ford:

When was the last time you renewed the information on ID.me? I received the same message, but I'm still a Reservist -- was very confused. Then I went back into ID.me, renewed the information on there (the "military affiliation"), and tried again. Worked like a charm -- the original ID.me verification was from 2017 or something on my account, so THAT was out of date, not my status.

First responders must be $500 because that's what I cam getting. (I'm a volley) You have to sign up for ID.me which it turns out is fantastic for savings. Who knew?

I got the $500 military bonus yesterday. I am guessing it has to do with your zip code so some get $1000 and some get $500. I used the ID.me and printed out the voucher. Very easy.

I checked last fall. Got out in 1974, and they told me it was not applicable to me, I qualified for bupkis. Has not changed, apparently, at least for most that apply.(and are old)

Check on www.fordsalutesthosewhoserve.com It's a bit confusing but works.

" This Military Bonus Cash Incentive is only available to active military personnel and those within 2 years of separation. Since your separation date is over 2 years you unfortunately do not qualify for this incentive. "

Same old story. Easier to pay $20 to Illinois and get the $500 Farm Bureau Cash Back.
