I never had to ask about a front licence plate. Here in NJ half the teslas have no front plates. Now I am seeing that on Audis BMW and other higher end cars. If your not going to enforce it change the law.

In fairness to the Teslas, that plate would likely screw up their aerodynamics (Well, except the CyberTruck). Not sure the excuse for most other EVs that have a fat nose on the front.

Fortunately, Alabama doesn't have a front-plate requirement. I'm not even sure I could get an identical plate for the front. Those that even have the bracket have a decorative plate.

It's not regulated here in Kentucky, as far as I know. I don't work for department of transportation but for the veterans affairs/ state operated retirement home. But when I saw the plate and having a choice to get one I decided that it was be better than to mark up the windows with stickers.

Years ago during the bicentennial 1976 NJ allowed you to put the commerative plate on the front just for that year. So many now flaunt the law I don't even know why they have it.

Just checked my tracking and scheduling and I was scheduled for first week in April. Now it says scheduled for March 18th.
