That pretty much puts a fork in 2022 delivery hopes. Hopefully they're streamlining the 2023 line.

What does "streamlining" mean? Heck, they ain't streamlining anything. They're trying to get all the MY22s they issued VINs for built!

On a related note, anyone care to speculate on how long MY22 production will be extended?

Do I hear Dec. 1? Dec. 15? Christmas? Anyone for Christmas?
Long enough for me to give up on the Maverick. Can't wait all winter for an AWD vehicle.

This is a reality check for all you MY23 newbies still infected with initial excitement. It's gonna be a looooong wait and a bumpy ride.

Please remain in your seat with your belt securely fastened until FoMoCo has your Maverick parked safely at the gate (dealer)!

Scheduling tomorrow or just not at all this week?
Not sure, I can't find my email from the Brand Manager but all of my orders are not longer previewing so I'd say not at all this week.

It was not likely many folks were getting a 23 Maverick before spring anyway. The average wait time on these trucks is a year — figure 8-14 months and if it turns out to be anything less than that you beat the odds big time.

No surprise to me at all. I think Ford is trying their best to get all the ‘22’s built that have a VIN, but those of us were given production dates in September, have now been pushed back to mid to late October. I doubt any ‘23 models will go into production on the projected week of 14 November. I can about bet that production for the ‘23 Maverick won’t happen until sometime after their week off during Thanksgiving.

What are the odds that Ford just cancels the rest of the MY22 orders.
