Anyone getting a Mav from Romeo Ford Mi. ? The reason I ask is I was told they’re getting deliveries of 40 mavs in November. And how was your experience with Romeo Ford?

Not sure what I did to deserve this "special" treatmernt. The tracking website tells me it is "In Production" as we speak, and that a window sticker will soon be available!

Odd how Ford assigns and shuffles VINs. Yours at 36XX will be one of the first 2024s built as they just started 2024s 2 days ago and you're in production, mine at 24XX originally scheduled even later at 10-23 has been bumped to 11-13.

So I ordered 9/15/23 got a scheduled build date today not even 30 days after ordering. So I ordered a 2024 XLT Luxury Tremor 2.0. scheduled build date the week of December 11, 2023!! I'll believe it when i see it, according to people who waited a long time.

At least some has email, im still waiting, at least I have my order number. My dealer has told me that I'm one of 6 people that is waiting for the email.

I read somewhere that Ford gave out certificate to someone for a 2024 schedule recently. Try calling Ford marketing and see if there is a certificate for you, if you are a rollover.

I believe the private offer is communicated from Ford to the dealer, they won't reach out to you directly. If you contact the dealer or Ford Marketing they should be able to give you more info if you need it.

Okay, on transitional private offer for 23 -> 24 orders. If your dealer has done all the paperwork, the certificate is now active in Ford's computer system, I just got off the phone with Ford Marketing(800-334-4375). For 23 -> 24 certificate, it is a six digits number, and the digits don't match up with the order/sale codes like that of 22 -> 23 transitional private offer.

For those who already got a scheduled build, I highly recommend contacting Ford Marketing and make sure that your certificate is there than waiting until last minute to sort out the situation when there is an issue with your certificate.

Maybe the strike shutdown of the Kentucky truck plant will free up some wheels/tires for the XL/XLT. Then again the Kentucky plant probably uses larger sizes.

Ford emailed me last week with a build date for 12-11-23 but have now updated that to 11-13-23 for my 24MY XLT.

I just wonder how much longer the striking workers will continue to draw strike pay. The UAW had 825 million in their strike fund at the start of the strike. We now have 33,700 workers on strike plus the 5000 that the big three have laid off who will also draw strike pay. At $500 per week per person that fund is not going to last very long. Strike is now on day 28. Saw last night where the strikers were asking for donations. If my numbers are correct it's costing the union 19,350,000 a week.

33700 * $500 is $16.5million. So only 48 weeks of strike pay. I don't think the union is worried about that.

Those numbers constantly change as Ford continues to lay off workers and the UAW continues to add facilities to the strike. The union is really just spending the dues that members pay so it's not an issue for them. Not a win for anyone or the economy.

Ford notice indicates it will be a Lariat day. Ford's actual scheduling software appears to be eyeballing XLs and XLTs as well. We'll see shortly.

Maybe a first. Ford sent me an updated email moving my build date from 12/11/23 to 11/06/23. I was sure when I saw the email it was going to go the other way.
