Hello all (in particular whomever- MaverickEcoBoost) I have just received this {attached} today which does not indicate "Code #"... however, in a separate email with the Preview Order M036 etc. the Priority Code was 10... am I confident this is moving forward successfully? Not at this time.. I had placed that order on the 11th and on the 18th, after reading so many comments about Dealers and delays... I wrote to the Dealership - their response was that they made an error and had not submitted yet. So they changed the priority code to "10" as it was originally showing as a "19"!!

Meanwhile, after reading so many recommendations to utilize a ford Dealer in the Philly area for ordering and great discounts (4% off Ford invoice)... I am able to save over $2,000 off what the attached is showing. While I want to move in his direction and order it from that Philly dealer - my bigger concern is the support I might need after driving home from PA to FL and discovering all kinds of "issues" - primarily Dealer Installed Options...

At this time I would LOVE to have some comments from the folks here, as to "what would you do?"... stay with the local dealer and build on the business relationship for proper "post sales" support? They also have sent me in writing: During these times with the vehicle shortage we are not quoting pricing on ordered units other than MSRP. We are aware there are dealers quoting customers wild prices before a vehicle is built, just to get orders in the bank and hopefully extra vehicles on the ground. We only quote what we know we can 100% honor with our customers, and at this moment it is MSRP. In addition, you will receive whichever incentives you qualify for as well. We are a hassle free dealer and you are under no commitment or obligation to purchase once this vehicle arrives with us should the final numbers not end up not agreeable for any reason.

Or order through the Philly dealership {Thomas Borah Owner Operator Chapman Ford of Horsham 215-410-2210 chapmannewcars.com } and save over $2k?

Compounding this issue - I am currently without any car - purposely sold both of my prior cars: 1 in May and the last 1 in June... hoping to rely on Uber or Lyft... and my Trek Bicycle...

Therefore if I order from the Philly dealership, I am further behind in my order, and jeopardize the 1st Edition build out that I really do want!

I hope to see some really great comments here... bring it on!

First, your order was not placed until 8/18, so that is not a HUGE gap of time; if you place an order at Chapman today or tomorrow.

Next, that $2K savings is a great deal because many dealers are only placing orders at MSRP, and some will likely add mark up charges, when those orders are delivered.

Finally, FORD is just starting the builds, and ALL of us are waiting, regardless of when or where we placed our orders. Your current transportation situation does not change if you switch to Chapman or if you remain with your current dealer.

I dunno. The dealer is being straight-up with you and guaranteeing MSRP or better. I wouldn't feel bad about this deal.

Agree... that was written and posted yesterday. Today I firmed up all of the details for drop ship to Port Richey FL, transaction in Horsham PA Ford... that is kind-a sweet - the dealership never touches the vehicle and still makes the transaction... with some profit (unknow factor)

My 07 Sport Trac was awesome.........Maverick reminds very much of that vehicle.
I'm sure my New Maverick will live up to the same expectations.
Big difference is the power.
Sport Trac was equipped with a Mustang V-8.
I'm shy 24 years from 100 so power is not that important to me anymore.
Looking forward to a reliable vehicle that I can drive with pride!!!
I'm only 6 years behind you, Claymore, and with that in mind, I've been "around the block" a few times as you have too. When I placed the order in early July, I figured it would be a long wait and that's okay. Even though the Mavs are made in Mexico, I just wanted to buy from an American company. Just hoping it's worth the wait. 🤠

Update: I decided to go with Tom Borah out of PA, Ford Dealerships are numerous in this area and I can go wherever for service. Besides the Dealer I noted above - well we had a disagreement; enough said.

Is this true? I didn’t get an order email, just a scan of your the printout from the dealer.
Did anyone else get this or would
It be coming later?
I got a confirmation email from ford about an hour or so after getting my order submitted by my dealer.

Dealers can NOT add markup once you place the order. Your order sheet had the price of the Maverick MSRP. I brought that up with my dealer, I wasn't expecting a discount at all and I'm not expecting any added markup.

My order: XLT Hybrid - Velocity Blue + Lux Pack + Co-Pilot 360 + Flr Liner w/o carpet mats.
Order Submitted though Chapman Ford NE Philly on 7/28/21
Order Confirmed by Ford (email received only) on 7/28/21

No update from Ford after the first email. Dealer said to wait.
I log into my Ford.com account and under "Reservation & Orders" it says
"Our records show you have no reservations, orders, or purchases.
Please visit our showroom for more vehicle options."
What is happening with my order?

Also, at the time of ordering (7/28/21), I got invoice from Dealer showing "Discount Saving" but I don't see any discount on the Order Summary received from Ford. It only has the MSRP. Is this OK?

Could anybody give me an estimate of about how long between order confirmation and build date for a velocity blue with a fork a tow package and ecoboost engine I submitted my reservation on 8/13 and got my confirmation of order on 8/16. I'm not in an overly hurried, but I would like it yesterday 🤣

No one can do this, but if you spend some time and read this forum, you can come up with your own conclusion.
