Picked mine up Saturday, the dealer did not have the rebate certificate even though we discussed it the week before, the regional rep was unavailable as it was after hours. I went a head and took the truck. Monday I received an email from the dealership and the salesman stating that the Ford...
Originally ordered on 08/13 ecoboost, 4K tow,and FWD with a priority code 19. Order was changed by Ford to AWD and signed by me 08/24 with a priority code 2. No build date yet.
My salesman gave me a copy of the email about the special offer and the new order sheet to sign which I did. He also told me to keep my copy of the original order sheet in case someone gets forgetful. I may have to change my opinion of car salespeople
I did the same thing with the Santa Cruz, I went across the street to a Ford dealer far so far so good. The Ford dealer told me that Ford said no MSRP games with customer orders, but stocking orders were fair game. The down side is I'm waiting on my build date. The dealership I'm using is...
I found a pop-up worked better with Frontier, But I had the 4 cylinder. The Titan on the other hand towed anything and everything comfortably in it's weight bracket
I have owned both a Titan and a Frontier, both were very good tow vehicles. They handled very well in all road conditions. The only downside was the MPG they are not an economical choice as a day-to-day driver. I am a bit worried about Ford as I haven't owned one in a long time
I really did not want the tow package as I'm not planning on towing anything that heavy again, wanted the extra cooling capacity for the engine and transmission but I'll take it. Thank you for your good wishes
