I'd say your truck is built,, do a chat with Ford in the morning to confirm.

This morning, the tracker added the "In Production" date of 1/12/23. So they are ahead of the 1/13/23 schedule they told me. I'll leave FMC alone today and give them a few days before calling. That "built" box should be filled in soon, given the module activation. I was expecting April delivery...might even turn out to be a February delivery!

Edit: The module page now gives me a "Tear Tag" number. I had to look that up to find it was an ECU code. Gotta be close to DONE.

They must've switched mine with yours. Mine had a scheduled date of 1/12 and I got the window sticker on 1/6 and showed a production date of 1/4. So far no In Production date on Order Status and no modules. Hopefully later today or over the weekend something happens.

Correction: Modules are now showing but no production date in. At least that means I'm almost done!

My order tracker shown production date of 1/11/2023. I chat with FC today and got the response below. Not sure what are the dates at the end of the message. Chat agent couldn't explain it. Any idea?

"Thank you for your patience! Your vehicle order status for your order currently displays  3FTTW8E37PRA199xx Maverick In Production Returned from Body Company Ford Hermosillo Assembly, SO Jan-12-2023 Jan-27-2023 Feb-02-2023"

I've been trying to track my rail car but the UP tracking system is only telling me when it makes a stop and when it left the last stop. Does anyone know how to tell where it's stopping?

I just looked at my Fordpass account (where I added my Maverick VIN some time ago). It shows that my Sync3 and NAV was updated Thursday. Still doesn't show "Built", but I can't imagine anything is left except maybe adding the $225 Bedrail clamps might be done elsewhere. You know, the delay I told the salesman to take off of my cancelled/rolled order but he didn't.

I'm having a hard time making sense of the railcar tracking. Ford chat gave me a railcar number of TTGX990710. CSX says it was unloaded in Indiana back in August and has no further updates. UP seems to be tracking a moving train, giving me departure/estimated arrival times, (different every couple days) but the only location info it offers is "Origin Ramp: CD Industrial" (always the same). Norfolk has nothing in their system.

Can someone help me figure out where my truck is?

If you are going by rail, it’s more complicated…

First you will need the rail car letters and numbers. It is on the visibility report or DORA which is from the dealership. You MAY be able to get it from the SVT people but they seem often in a cranky mood and may tell you to get it from the dealer.

There are two major rail companies.

CSX is everything east of the mississippi
UP is everything west of the mississippi

But they all start out on CSX so once they have it in their system they will follow it all the way.

So, how do you track your truck on a railcar?

First and most important. Never talk to live personnel at the railroad! Only use automated phone system. If it attempts to transfer you to a live person please hang up. The railcar information we are provided by is given as a courtesy and if we call live personnel we may lose the access and ability to track.

CSX
1. Call the CSX 1-800-235-2352
2. When prompted for location or weight, press "1" on your phone for location.
3. When prompted for the car initials, say CN (or whatever initials you have) then wait for the next prompt.
4. When prompted for the car number, say 907048 (or whatever your number is)
5. When prompted for next car say DONE.
6. That's it; enjoy your updated status report.

Union Pacific
1. Call UP at 1 800 877-5123 1 800 877-5123
2. Follow phone prompts for Trace
3. Say the railcar number complete and clearly. Example CN123456 all together
4. Listen for your update

NS Norfolk Southern
1. Call 800-635-5768
2. Press 2.
3. Press 2.
4. Enter the letters on the numeric keypad then press #. As in: TTGX will be 8849
5. Enter the numbers then press #. It wasn't taking my voice prompts but typing worked.

The trucking web site has no way to join. How do I get the convoy info? My truck is in Illinois off the train Awaiting a ride to N.C.

Does the "Final Preparation" circle have a dot in it. If so, it has arrived at the dealer and they are cleaning it up, etc. No dot, hasn't got there yet. (In theory!)
