Can't do the windshield in Canada without medical papers I believe. We have pretty tight tint laws here.

Oh OK, I can understand that. When I was stationed in Delaware I drove my old Jeep Cherokee out there. Since it was an AZ vehicle it had tint everywhere! Gotta stay cool! When I went to register it in DE, I was told I had to remove the tint from all the front windows. I asked the guy when did the sun stop shining in DE? He wasn't amused!

My ceramic tint is baking in the sun to set. I didn't go dark because I have residual vision issues. I went 30% to match the rear but I feel like it is a bit lighter.

I did 30% too. In California, that's pushing passed the limit of legality (70%)

Edit: I had the guy tint on top of the factory tint on the rear doors.

Might try installing after I get home from
dialysis. May do it tomorrow instead.

Still waiting on window vents. Said they were shipped, however.....

Ceramic tinted the front windows to match the rears. Front and rear match near perfectly.

Clear ceramic on the front windshield, with an AS4 tint strip.

Used Llumar product and guy with 40 years experience did the install.

Brought home some scrap 6 foot 2x4's from work today. These will eventually end up as a trellis system for the tomatoes in the garden. This is the first time I've used the adjusting tailgate and it worked really slick.

This is the obligatory garden pic. We have around 25 tomato plants in the garden this year. The row doesn't look that long in the pic but it's around 75 feet long.

From our first EB FX4 being towed home by our former F150 (uggg why did I sell that!?) to our current 48-5-0 mpg hybrid Mav… I’m convinced this is the most practical vehicle Ford has made in quite some time.

Won’t have my Maverick for a couple months. Saw this guy in Tucson last night at Trader Joe’s. When I came back out the Maverick was gone, but there was a bronco sport in front of where it was. I’m confident the driver parked there because of the Maverick.

I checked a few potential trouble spots on the truck for him/and every thing looked great. I was hoping to run into him/her. Any of you guys own this bad boy?

Hey! I saw my second Maverick in the wild yesterday and it was a hybrid XLT Cactus Gray! Looked great! We were in our hot pepper red hybrid XLT. The Cactus Gray was beside us in traffic and the driver and I exchanged big smiles and thumbs ups! That was FUN!!

That lettering looks so cool.

Well after waiting 11 months, posting over 300 memes, writing multiple letters to Ford Customer Service directors, and generally being vocal PIA about Ford's allocation system, the day finally arrived!!
Yes, ladies and gentlemen of the mighty MTC...I finally have my Maverick!!

Let the fun (and mods) begin!!

I want to thank everyone on the MTC who have taken the time to PM me or reply to my many postings! As a community we have all certainly have endured something that 90% of us never expected when we placed our orders, the dreaded allocation system!! Going forward we are all much more knowledgeable and can pass on that knowledge to those who feel the need to get a Maverick! I will still continue to post and read postings because just ordering a Maverick is only part of the "fun" the real joy is in owning and using Maverick!
Now I feel the need...The need for speed!! Well as much I can obtain legally following posted limits and not screwing with my hybrid's awesome mpg!!

We've had our Maverick hybrid for 11 weeks and still absolutely LOVE it!! Enjoy your weekend of driving and getting to know your new Maverick!

Did you name yours? We planned to name ours Maxi (Max for short), as we also have a Mini. But since we picked up ours on St. Patrick's Day it's kind of been dubbed The Paddy Wagon.
