I would rather buy off the lot. But Ford wants you to order your next vehicle and go thru this long process. No thank you. Next vehicle will be bought off the dealers lot.

My dealer called me yesterday and said they actually received one at around noon. He said if I wanted to grab it, I'd have to come in and order it. It's in my driveway as I write this.
The WEIRDEST part is that it arrived BEFORE I actually ordered it.
YOU have to wait. Haaaa Haaaaa

Oh yeah - I placed my order yesterday for a Maverick Lariat EgoBooster and they actually delivered a Platinum Ford Lightning. They said because they made the mistake I didn't need to pay extra.

Hybrid XLT Lux pkg. ordered 6/26. Confirmed 6/28. Got dealer to change priority code from 19 to 10 last month. Dealer says no idea on allocations but bragged they are one of the top dealers on the east coast so they got just as many allocations as anyone else.
He says no information on build date and that Ford doesn’t tell them much. I was really hoping that after not getting the email last week that I would get one this week, but nope. I really wish that there was transparency on how these builds are chosen and where we are in line. Losing hope that I will have my truck by the end of the year.

My dealer has told me (twice) that I will know when my Maverick order is updated when they do.

Transparency would be awesome, but it would also result in a whole lot more butt-hurt rants.

Every week I find myself regretting more and more the fact that I thought putting down for a FE would result in being closer to the front of production.

I don't understand this line of thinking. Either way from now until the dealer lot you are still waiting the same amount of time for the truck to release. It just happens to be that people who order it get exactly the configuration they want. In fact, it's a longer wait to get it off the lot since retail orders get priority over dealer stock.

Considering the car market right now, good luck trying to find a specific car on the lot. And when you do, expect a dealer markup.

Wow we ordered July 29th nothing

I ordered my Lariat Hybrid on June 21. I received the production announcement today that it'll be the week of November 15. The only option I had was a Sprayed-in Bedliner, which I removed three weeks ago. Alto Blue.

Same (Carbonized Gray in my case), though I'm strongly considering dropping the FE package and the tonneau cover. At least that way I'd only be in one Maverick support group and not two!

You know, we really probably should drop the FE at this point.
