Update. Take this for what it’s worth

Called Ford CS a second time this morning. Rep was very definitive that order cancelled no COVP. She said it’s sad after all this time I’ve waited. Dealer had sufficient advance notice to complete COVP by 6/2/2023. Although no word on 23-24 rollover and price protection at t this time, cancelled order eliminates any entitlement if Ford does offer something for unfulfilled MY23 orders.

Interesting that CSR Advised me if I wish to place a MY24 order, choose a single site high volume dealer. Read message that better to due business with a place where you’re just a number rather than family owned dealer that prioritizes long-time customers.

Talked to salesman today. Earlier this week order was previewed for production and he was shocked Ford cancelled. He claims they did COVP on the order. Sales manager in touch with Ford rep to to see if anything can be done.

I doubt anything will happen. If I hear any more will post an update.

Is this the last schedule before the order banks open (potentially) in July? In other words, those of us who did not scheduled will have to order a 24?
It is my understanding there is one last scheduling date on either the first or second week of July for September builds.

Just got an email. However, it looks like my dealer never updated my exterior paint choice! Anyone know if there is anyway to update the paint color when it's been scheduled?
Yes you can have the dealer update paint color up until your actual build date is scheduled.

This seems extra weird. As reported here on several threads non-COVP'd orders on June 5th were supposedly moved to PC99. And from my understanding, Ford would not preview a PC99. But we also know that sometimes extra weird things happen when it comes to the Maverick. Hopefully your situation gets resolved in your favor.

I have NEVER received an email directly from Ford about my Maverick order. It was placed on 17 SEP 2022. The dealer forwarded a picture of a hard copy ""Customer Order Verification" page listing my tracking number (useless until/if I get a VIN), customer name, order date, and vehicle model listed.

Also, hand written on the page, is a number the salesman noted as Order Number.

I have called Ford over the past couple of months and have been able to confirm my order is real. The other thing that is definitely real is they are unable (Dealer/Salesman/Ford) to give me any actual status. The Form Marketing person has confirmed there has been "activity" around my vehicle but was unable to indicate what that activity was or how it impacts delivery.

Am I supposed to be receiving communication directly from Ford, or does that only commence once your order "is scheduled"?
I ordered my Maverick on 16 September 2022. I also was not getting emails from Ford until I went in to the dealer and told them. That same day I got the order confirmation email. I have gotten an email every 45 days since that until the last one due a couple of weeks ago. Hang in there.

To add to that, I talked to a very popular large dealership here in San Antonio TX regarding 2024 bank. Sales manager said as much as he wants to take my order, he said they are not getting the allocations. They are top 20 in the nation in Ford sales. He said out of the 300 Mavs ordered from him, he is only going to get 100. So 200 won’t get theirs.

Just sharing what I was told.

I have heard but not sure if true that allocations for Mavericks is not only about dealers overall sales but sales of hybrids/ Mavericks of previous year. So, If large dealers weren't pushing the hybrids/Mavericks they might not get a lot of allocations for those models.

I have no idea if they do allocations by model as well as overall sales but someone that worked at a Ford dealership told me this. I think he was a salesman but not sure. This was from someone that worked at a larger dealership and we were discussing Mavericks, Broncos and trucks.

He was talking a lot about the trucks as this dealership has a separate truck division for sales/service particularly for larger commercial type trucks. This was in casual conversation as I was talking with him not at the dealership. This was long after I ordered my vehicle and I didn't order from the dealership he worked.

Tim Bartz has said this years Maverick allocations are dependent upon the previous 12 months sales of Mavericks, Bronco Sports, Rangers and Escapes. So sells of F-150 and other large vehicles do not help their Maverick allocation.

Ford should do the common sense right thing and prioritize any re orders with a 6 or lower than 10 priority code.
Ford school also scan sort all COVP orders and where someone orders 2 for good reasons require $5 k down payment on 2 nd order
the allocation is mystery to the consumer so understand why folks order 2 etc but that just feeds the dealer getting high market adjustment and 1 less Maverick for MSRP

I am going through the same thing but no one has said anything about it being cancelled so far. I really hope there’s something that can be done. They’re still looking for mine and ford says the dealer may find it. They told me to give it until Monday in case it’s a system glitch of some kind.

I am finally getting my email (for my Tremor)! However, it looks like they have it as Cactus Grey...I wanted Avalanche Grey. This may be a problem

Hello everyone,
My first post. Just got sked. Krieger Ford and my salesperson Kevin Hundley have been awesome from day one. Very well taken care of. They are the best! Very cool that Kevin my salesman got email at same time saying his is finally sked. He said would be awesome if ours came in on the same truck. I agree! He has been waiting two years! Happy for him and his family. Congrats to all that got sked. To everyone else keep the faith!
