Did they take away the black color as well? I thought they kept it. They took away the Avalanche Gray for sure.Yup- I have a scheduled 2023 Black Tremor Lariat Lux and these will be rare birds for sure Just glad I got scheduled
So did your 2022 Model Year quote of $19,995 include the Delivery Fee?Apples to Apples according to this : I have a 23 Lariat hybrid ordered of which I opted for the co-pilot 360 assist, spray in bedliner , and remote start, the sticker price is $34625 ( including destination). According to this post, my spray in bedliner and copilot 360 plus will now be included in the 24 lariat base price of $35730, but I assume remote start will still be optional(if it is even still offered), so roughly an $1100 increase( save for the rmst). Really not surprising( and not that bad) with the Bidenomics we have in place right now, but if you look at what was once an affordable entry level hybrid at $19995 as advertised in 2021 for the 22 model year, it is now $26495 for 24 model year. WOWZA!!!
Well if it is an OPTION then those who want it CAN get it. Those that don't want it, DON'T have to chose it. I'm sure it is an option many would choose, even though it adds cost / price.not sure why they would want to put out a 4wd hybrid option- all that would do is increase demand that they already can't handle. If they make it standard it'll just bump the price up another couple thousand hovering around 30K for an option that a good number don't really want or need.
my Lariat prices are apples to apples.... the XL pricing is apples to crabapples lol, good point, I don't believe the $19995 included destination/delivery, which was not as much on the 2022 as it will be on the 2024.So did your 2022 Model Year quote of $19,995 include the Delivery Fee?
Does your 2024 Model Year quote of $26,495 include the Delivery Fee?
Methinks your 2022 Quote did not, and your 2024 Quote did. I thought we were keeping it Apples to Apples in the comparison.....

yeah that why I said "IF they make it standard'Well if it is an OPTION then those who want it CAN get it. Those that don't want it, DON'T have to chose it. I'm sure it is an option many would choose, even though it adds cost / price.
Your Demand excuse is a Red Herring.
eh, maybe not. All vehicle prices increased due to some of the factors you cite - so it's all relative. Gas price 'new normal' is still price at 3.60+ and somewhere in a couple years it'll likely be 5 bucks, so the econo hybrid is still going to be highly sought after.I believe with the initial two years of crazy demand, cost adder for the Hybrid engine, general inflation driven cost increased, and all the color changes, I believe 2024 will finally be the year that we’ll see significant numbers of Mavericks being available as dealer stock.
It's not called price protection. It's called private offer. Was told by my dealer this morning as of 9:32 am central time from a email from Ford that there will be no price protection on the MY23 orders not built this year to the MY24. Also was said their allocations got increased by 4 times the amount previously for 23. Said my 23 most likely will not get built. All I know mine was next up according to their amount of allocations but who knows if someone else's Maverick would be built before mine. MY23 Maverick was a XL priced at $22,195 with the added price of $2220 for AWD with 2.0 Eco along with the 4K at $745 for a total selling price of $26655.00. With taxes along with documentary fee of $289 and with a downpayment of $500 came to $28734.24. At this point I don't know who to believe on any of this.
If your dealer has allocation, you should get built as a '23 model. I also have a base XL AWD w/4K still unscheduled, but my dealer insists it will get built. Most, if not all, 23's that don't get built will be hybrids, according to the SM.Was told by my dealer this morning as of 9:32 am central time from a email from Ford that there will be no price protection on the MY23 orders not built this year to the MY24.
