A confirmation email from Ford does not necessarily mean your order was correctly verified by the dealer. Its a system called ROVP (retail order verification program (I think)). The dealer could have submitted your order, but if it wasn't entered into ROVP, Ford will not build your vehicle.

Anyway, the most likely scenario is your dealer did not put the order in correctly and therefore they/you missed the cutoff for hybrid...
Wow, there's like no coverage under the gas pedal... a place your foot and debris is almost guaranteed to be. Must have been considered a liability by Ford's lawyers.
Call your dealer and ask for your order number and sales code, then call the ford phone number that is listed above and give them those two numbers. They can confirm if your order is in the system. They are not good for much else, but they can at least confirm its in the system.

I recall seeing it on another thread on this forum, but I don't think Mullinax post it themselves. It has something to do with Ford's delivery system that will automatically post to dealer inventory when vehicles are enroute to them.

I think the red looks great, but I went with carbonized grey since I think it compliments the lariat interior better. Thought the red would clash with the navy blues used in the plastics and seats. I also think the CG is more of a "classy," refined color if that makes any sense.
