Going on Sunday to look at them. Depending on how insane the markups are, I might have to consider the SE. I do love the digital dash and larger entertainment screen though on the XSE model... If it had that dash and screen, I would be more willing to drop the leather and moonroof.
There should be another poll option about getting a different vehicle all together. Wife and I are going out Sunday to look at Rav4 hybrids, maybe even a Prius. If those are ridiculously marked up, then I'm just going to wait out the Maverick; no changes.
To me, leather (or fake leather now), heated seats, adaptive cruise control, fancy creature comforts, are all luxurious items. Is it a Mercedes or Ferarri? No, but the Lariat and the trims of Prius and Rav4 that I'm looking at have all those features so they do offer some form of luxury over the...
I have a dog, so I would prefer her in the back cargo area rather than a row of seats so sedans are out. My wife has a Mustang so when we need to get stuff at the store, its usually my vehicle. And we don't have kids, but when we pick up my parents or in-laws, that's two grown adults in the...
I'm by no means loyal to Ford, and the mess they made here isn't pushing me towards one of their other vehicles either.
Regardless of that, for the price and features, I would rather go Rav4/Prius over a hybrid Escape....
Don't know why I never looked at them.. Barring any markups, a Prius Limited has more features than the Maverick and is $1,200 more than my Lariat....
I never really considered a Prius... don't know why... Maybe its because I always though it was similar in size to my Mazda3 hatch and I've been looking for something bigger, hence the Maverick or Rav4. It might be worth exploring....
I have a Mazda 3 now, had a Mazda 3 before that. While I love they way Mazdas handle and they do have very nice interiors when you move up to higher trim levels, I'm just ready for something else... plus there is no hybrid and MPGs are the main feature of my next vehicle.
Not necessarily talking myself out of the Maverick, it may just be falling off the pedestal I had it on after waiting for a while with no end in site...
There are several Rav4s available in my area according to dealer websites. Not sure if its like Ford and they could be spoken for. May be...
I have to admit that I was holding on hope, but that recent dealer memo kinda put the first nail in the coffin for me. The more I think about it, the more I wonder if the Maverick is the right vehicle for me.
I wanted the Maverick because it was a hybrid and for the price range ($31K Lariat), I...
As other Floridians have pointed out, a full EV is not viable if that is your only means of transportation down here.
I was considering the Mach E for a while, but with my wife having a real Mustang, the Mach E would be the family vehicle and even though it would be perfect for 90% of my...
Just because they're not scheduling doesn't mean they're skipping a production week. You just find out a week later whether your truck is getting scheduled or not. This is no big deal.... everyone can start panicking and complaining when it's posted that it's a cleanup week or the plant closes down.
Emails now arriving??? Way to kill my excitement this early in the day.... sheesh...
Usually Ford lets me build up a lot of anticipation before letting me down.. reminds me of my high school days....
