At least with my current car now being a manual, my wife can't drive it anyway. She doesn't like trucks but the Maverick is probably small enough for her to feel confident in. At least if she does claim it, her daily driver is a new Mustang so aside from me being stuck putting gas in that, I...
Considering that Ford schedules production nearly 2 months in advance (this week they were scheduling builds for last week in March), the writing will be on the wall if you do not have a scheduled build by mid June/early July.
If you follow the build notification email threads that start on Thursdays, I think you'll see that they are up to the last week in August for scheduling hybrids. Hopefully this means next Thursday they start getting into September order.
Of course allocations throw a wrench in this and there...
I miss those three weeks around Christmas and New Years where no emails were being sent out and I knew there was no chance of me being disappointed. Those were the good ol' days....
This article is misquoted and was written before or right around when orders opened. The article said Ford told supplies to prepare for 110k vehicles. In no way does that translate to what was actually ordered.
Straight from the article:
" Automotive News reports that Ford told suppliers to...
Even if your numbers are correct, they don't have until the end of the year. They have until about September or October as that is when the assembly line switches tooling for the new model year.
I have a feeling the reason that all the June/July/August customers are being told their orders are being rolled over to 2023 is because the order process was so new and the dealers input these early orders incorrectly. Then the order deadline came and went and these "orders" were never...
You need to call the dealer to see if it's actually available. Using the search inventory tool on ford's site is inaccurate.
Ford automatically post trucks enroute to dealers as inventory, whether they are customer orders or dealer stock (which there should not be any dealer stock Mavericks at...
I got a new canned response when talking with Ford chat today. Instead of the regular script of "your vehicle will be scheduled at the earliest available production opportunity" I got, "We are working hard and exploring other options to ramp up production to get orders scheduled as quickly as...
Yes, you're right. Factory or aftermarket appear to be the same way. Never noticed it before you posted that close up. Now it sticks out like a sore thumb on every picture I see.
Maybe I missed it on other posts, but I never noticed the hinge brackets on the tail gates not being coated with bed liner. Is there a reason they didn't do it on yours? Seems like that area is just a susceptible to scratches as the rest of the tailgate and could end up rusting.
I could be mistaken, but I think I remember seeing a post by Tim that only the dealer can verify if you are in ROVP. Customer service does not have access to that information. They can only see if an order is placed and what stage you are at. If it was placed but not verified, it would just show...
Are any one of your posts on this thread going to pertain to the Maverick or are you an internet super hero that just goes around and defends those that get called out for bad grammar and typing skills?
