Here is a picture before I painted it and added the door design... The ghosty and gnome are earlier creations. Yes, the door opens and there is room to add something inside.
Having had my Maverick for one year this week., I had to celebrate 🥳 so I added a 5th door. There isn't anything behind it yet. Yet being the key word. It's still a little rough, a work in progress.
I did a trip approx 200 miles in Aug and got 31 mpg. Two months later... same trip, I got 35mpg. I have an XLT FWD. Both trips I drove between 75 and 80. I have right at 12000 miles on my truck. I love this little truck.
I added a tissue holder in my back seat. It has a compartment under the tissue box for miscellaneous... hmmm ... stuff. I made a 1 1/2 inch disk to fit in the FITS spot. Worked great. I have a holder that I hook over my steering wheel when I eat lunch in my truck so I can have a stand for my...
Looks great! I never found a set that completely filled the cavity. The extra space around the letters adds a little 3d effect. If you want the letters raised more... buy a second set and stack them.
Thanks, just making a disk to connect in the FITS spot worked great. I'm thinking maybe painting it a blue grey to match the seats.... Maybe orange trim in it? Lol 😂
I made a bucket to go in the back seat. Just used some stuff I had in my workshop. I think it came out pretty good. I might go ahead and paint it at some point. It holds a box of tissues and I could put a trash bag in it if I want. I have a holder I put together that lets me hang my tablet from...
This is one of the first things I did to my truck. I thought the big chrome bezel was too much on my Alto Blue. I did it last December and have run it through multiple carwashes... No problems at all. No scratches or rips. Tip to remember with plastidip is start with a couple of very light...
I recently took a trip from the Austin Texas area to Dallas Texas and clocked right at 200 miles. I was driving between 75 and 80 most of the way and got right at 35 mpg. On the way back traffic was heavier and I was going into a strong head wind... I still ended up around 31. My mav is EB with...
I've enjoyed the previous meets and would enjoy making it to another... a lot depends on the timing. For me it is quite a drive... but well worth the camaraderie and conversation. I would be willing to make the trip again if time allows.
