Just put on some fender flares (the Air Design Satin ones) and figured I'd post how it looks as I haven't seen many photos with this style of fender flare:

Note that the stock mud flaps won't work with this style fender flare as the lip that goes over the body of the truck won't allow it.

I've also got the AVS bug deflector which went on pretty smoothly and no hood shake:

Oooch, I’ld say the price is well beyond pricey, it’s right on up there with Extra Expensive.

They do look nice though. 👀

Great look! These are the wheel flares I'm likely going to be installing when my Maverick arrives. I have always had one question, do these fender flares protect the inner lip of the wheel arch from rock chips/rusting, is it fully covered?

Thanks!

I’ve been trying to decide if I like these smooth ones, or the bulkier ones that look like they’re bolted on, but not. Either way, both are fairly expensive, and I think that’s what’s holding me up.

I love the look of these too. For $400, I'd highly consider and probably get them. But at the current listed price it's an easy "pass".

@ETBagel I much prefer the look of these to the bolt on style. It'll be interesting to see how the finish holds up over time.

Looks good on a darker color like yours. I find they make the tires look puny on a lighter color. Guess I'll have to wait for some aftermarket ones that aren't so wide.

How much protection from chips do these provide for the exposed edge of the body that wraps into the wheel well? Photos?

Very nice looking, I’m really liking the look of those on the Maverick, did you find anyone that discounts the price to a more reasonable amount? I have a white XLT ordered when the order banks opened and really like the look of the air design wheel flares and hope to put them on mine when I get it. I’m also considering getting the air design door protectors but am undecided if it will look too much. I’ll have to check out the bug deflector, is it stuck down like most of the other ones?

Not a fan of plastic fender protection.
Flares you installed appear OEM. If you are a fan of fender flares these look good.
