I have the Ford REV hard roll up version. I also live in central Texas so I have had plenty of toasty heat this summer. The aluminum ribs get plenty hot but not unbearable. Running it through the wash gets a little water in the bed... again, not bad and I was never expecting it to be water...
I'm not saying he is mistaken... Just saying I have never had any leaks on the cars I have owned with a sun/moon roof. I've owned multiple vehicles, trucks, cars and SUVs from different brands with no leaks. Even the Opel with the hand crank for the sun roofs never leaked. I'm not saying it...
I have pushed against the limiter a few times. 😎 109 is pretty much the limit. I have never had any issue with the handling, still feels very solid. It stays pretty perky right up to about 107 and then you can feel the limiter.
I have had a moonroof on several of my past cars .. going back to the 70s... Never did any maintenance and never had any problems or leaks. I even owned a car that had a hand cranked moonroof. No issues on that car except for a loose seal that I suspect may have been caused by "someone" crawling...
I know there was an update earlier in the year... Maybe you need to give yours a couple of days for the update to settle in and then try again for the latest. Mine was set for auto update too but never has. That might have to do with the connection.
Android Auto does seem more responsive and quicker to respond. Of course I have only had the update for a couple of days. I'm glad to see updates happen.
Funny you said that. This afternoon when I plugged in my phone, Android Auto said it couldn't connect. Said to try a different input or different cable. I tried both, no joy. I rebooted the radio and then it accepted the phone. Maybe it wasn't set up completely after the update. Seemed to work...
