I'm all in. Deposit posted with Granger.

Looking forward to driving up to Granger in a few (4?) months and picking up my retirement vehicle. I'm giving up a company car and since we already have a 23 Bolt EUV I want a vehicle for everything ELSE than what the Bolt is good for (trips, truck stuff, towing, AWD nasty weather). I doubt we'll put more than 6,000 miles a year on it.

Job-2 Lariat AWD hybrid + 4k tow + keypad. Desert Sand color.
Did you ask Granger if your deposit could be refunded if the price of the Maverick was higher due to the tariff?

With upcoming tariffs in January, I cannot afford a 25% increase in price of the Maverick (Ford cannot absorb this cost and pass it to the consumer). So, for now, I will not be ordering a new Maverick. Again, thank you for keeping us inform about the ordering process.
You are price protected once you sign off on the vehicle!

Thank you for letting us know. I ordered a few weeks ago through Chip, and the truck is scheduled for production in January. Appreciate the peace of mind regarding the price!

I ordered my from Granger! Per Ford chat this morning "It was delivered to its interim location at Gateway Yard, IL by Union Pacific where its waiting for the next transporter." With an estimated delivery date of 12/21-12/27, I'm a motivated man. Worth the trip from D.C.!!!

You can stack farm bureau discount with your pricing correct? code due at signing/removes $500? I am about to join farm bureau just for the code. just want to double check before I do.

if I place an order with you, when is it price protected from? the 500 deposit?

You sure can apply the Farm Bureau discount! There are expiration dates on them so keep that in mind. It sometimes is better to wait until you go into production.

You are price protected once you place your order!

When you say sign off, does that mean the $500 deposit is done? Or signing as in. There at the dealer buying vehicle.- im not even sure tariffs will happen, but if I place an order before he takes office and pay $500 deposit im hoping that means I’d be immune to tarif hike.

also merry Christmas! I will check back for reply in a few days. Hope it’s great for you and your family and friends!

Here is my take.
I know Granger had some orders the last couple years where delivery was declined so they bumped up the deposit to $500 to ensure you want the truck and not a tire kicker. After they email you a copy of the order with your options your price is noted and thats what you pay. Once they get the deposit they actually process the order plus dealer fees are quite reasonable, cheaper than anyone around here.

I think the tariff thing is a bunch of posturing but none of my business so not going there.
I bought from Granger before and they did exactly what they said they would do. I paid 3% under invoice. It was the shortest time I spent at a dealership in my life to buy any vehicle (less than 30 minutes) and I was driving my Maverick hime.

That makes sense and reasonable! I know the 500 non refundable which is fine, if you back out dealership deserves the money, small price to pay on a 30-40k truck.

I kind of thought by signing meant I need to pull a loan, and send paperwork buying the vehicle before it’s even ordered/processed which is something I cannot do, paying for a loan without a vehicle is a lot of interest and such. And a lot can happen who knows what happens in the 3-6months before vehicle arrives for people

Plane tickets far in advance appears can be $198 dollars from my Dayton Ohio airport, then taxi to dealer, then drive back

I didn't even sort out how I was going to pay for mine until a week before I picked it up. The deposit should be all you need. They provide an airport shuttle if I remember correctly. A nice savings which will more than pay for your road trip to IA. Nobody I know will give you a auto loan without a VIN so no need to worry about that til its built.

The signing of the sales agreement is the document that will price protect you. When you paid your $500 deposit, this enable the sales person to order your Maverick.

Granger is an awesome dealer. I bought a 22 Maverick from them and I have ordered a 25 Maverick through them. They have the best price on a Maverick and charge only $25 over dealer's cost for the extended warranty!

Am I able to use both the Farm Bureau discount and First Responder discount on the same purchase? Thank you!
