FordPass App update restores ability to input service history

I just noticed that I received update to my Fordpass app. It now has the option for user created maintenance records and Ford chat. I think both of these used to be here but disappeared for a while. I was able to add notes to my last maintenance record that I created from the website.

To incrementally improve iffy 12v battery life, I have pulled fuse 11, so I don't use the app. Website works fine though.

Interesting, I wonder if there is a way to download the maintenance log on the website, I don't see any export options in the app.

Bring back real time vehicle location. Adding geo-fencing would be nice as there are areas I don't want my teenager to be, like off-roading the hybrid. Vehicle speed alerts would be a plus.

Only update location if it changes more than 15 feet and GPS has good signal (potential GPS accuracy jumps).

Why am I thinking this simple thing would be done incorrectly, and it would spend all night doing constant updates.
Talk about battery drain then!

Actually, I'm doubtful Ford has good enough hardware in their servers for supporting that much app data flow.

It should automatically update. Ford updates usually happen over several days.

I just went into app store on my iphone. Update was option there instead of "get".

My Android auto updated when it was available. If you are Android, go to the play store and see if it is available to install.

It was previously a feature, I assure you they are capable of doing it. Secondly, I spent over twenty years in IT. I am well aware of the capabilities of modern hardware.

Yes, it was removed with the (I believe) launch of v.5.0.

Ya, after seeing this post, I checked.
Its been about two weeks since I bothered to look.
Nice, Now I can have a second record of maintenance...
My first is a $1.00 mini spiral notebook..
Which I have used in Every vehicle, that I have owned..

You can create a MYKEY limiting speed and other things for that specific key. It will nanny beep when truck reaches that speed and I think report to Ford pass. Also drive time, if I remember correctly.= (Miles? or?).
