I highly doubt there's any tune (change) that is not detected and recorded by the ECU. Good luck with that.
Granted I could be wrong. Maybe others will chime in
I installed the panda module for me it’s a good buy and easy to install and no issues. V

Hello all I’m updating on the choice I made, earlier in this I spoke about a tune with no foot print. I chose the panda 15% Hp increase module I’m running premium fuel 93 with a hi flow K&N filter and I LIKE It !!! The truck was fun before I did this but now it’s really fun!! I don’t drag race but it’s nice to have the little xtra bump in performance !!!! so that’s my story. VP
Is there a noticeable bump in performance? I'm comparing the same modules between JB4 and the Panda. I only have exhaust and K&N. Maybe one day do a downpipe but, that's about it.

I picked up the panda and yes there is a bump in performance 👍. The nice thing is it’s easy to uninstall if it has to go in for service I’m happy with the purchase 😀

Good call. I installed the Panda today and it is a nice boost along with the intake and exhaust. I know it's not a custom tune but, still feels good. Contemplating on if I should do the downpipe and intercooler but can't come to terms with voiding the warranty just yet lol

Any tune that doesn’t flash ecu won’t do anything, just a throttle manipulator for most part. A false sense of quickness. Actual hp tq won’t change. I think they are called pedal commanders or something.

a real tune tho. Will pop out performance but requires flashing.

I don’t know how panda works if it’s a piggy back or plug in or anything though.

that isn't true. do a little research on jb4 and how widely they are used on many vehicle brands and models that have locked ECU so a reflash isn't an option.

they intercept a few key sensors to change timing, boost and fuel but make the vehicle think that nothing has changed by sending false values back to the factory ECU.

there are actually some vehicles that the tuner community does both, reflash and intercept, because they can't change values enough in the ECU. I personally think that's pretty risky but I guess if you have the money for an Audi RS6 you have the money to replace an engine in it. 🤷😆

Must of gotten better over last 6-7 years. A lot of things could not be changed any other way other than the internal ecu. Had no idea the current piggybacks can truly alter engine targets like torque targets etc on the more advanced engines and turbos. Used to be just basic fueling changes

also in motorcycle worlds, everyone ditched power commander piggy backs in lieu of flashing, just so inferior. (For true sportbikes anyway)

don’t know the current scene with locked ecu’s and how hard they are to crack now. I know woolich was leading the way for motorcycles. Never heard of panda for cars though, mainly things like Cobb etc
