My Hybrid is two years old and so is all of my information, but I've been led to believe that 104mph was the top speed. For all I really know, it could be about 85.

Last year, I was stopped after passing someone in a passing zone. Sheriff made a U-ie and pulled me over. He told me, in Ark., it is OK to briefly exceed the speed limit (within reason) to pass someone. And 62 in a 55 zone was OK. But not 72.

Amazingly, he gave me a warning instead of a ticket, and told me that, in the future, keep it under "10 over" the limit.

Rumor has it that ford dealers put hi gh octane fuel in test drive cars and trucks ,so you will be impressed . I fillup with premium petrol every so often just to blow out the cob webs .

My hybrid might hit 110 mph but I think that the factory soft tonneau cover is only good for about 90 mph. ;-)

The hybrid does not have an obvious tach, but it has a redline.

About 110 MPH.

The traction motor is fixed to the wheel speed at 250 rpm to 1 mph with stock tires.

110 mph = 27,500 rpm.

Really.

I worked on a gearbox once where the backstop failed and the gearbox, normally 900 to 150 rpm spun that fast and came apart and sent pieces through the case and roof.
I think I'll keep my experimenting for my bike and my Miata.

it's almost as if it doesn't matter if you're doing 85 in a 65 passing or not, you're still 20 over.

*however*
if you choose to pass on 2 lane, all the time in the wrong lane is dangerous. 2 minutes to make a pass going 67 around someone doing 65, versus less than 5 seconds if you just floor it.

oh. right, you have a hybrid. less than 5 seconds for me.

Merged into I 49, in sport mode, about 110 when I got past 18 wheeler that couldn’t move over. Speed limit is 75, truck was going around 80.

yeah, OAR is what the value was called on older Ford engines but when the ecoboost 2.0 was revised in 2019, they changed it to KOM. OAR maxes at -1.000.

KOM maxes at positive 1.000. it's possible that your app is reading the value from the ECU and displaying it in the OAR format.

Holy cow! It takes 3.2 seconds for your engine to even make 3 psi of boost. That is a lot of turbo lag! And we know it’s not the transmission because the data log shows that max allowed torque for that 2,500 rpm is 402 lb/ft.

But once the turbo is spooled up, the boost skyrockets from 3 psi to 21 psi within the next 1.0 seconds.

The hot take is: Loads of initial turbo lag, then explosive power once the turbo is spooled up.

Check column C. Yes, you are right.. except I'm at 16-20 percent throttle, easing away from a stop.
