Sorry, I don’t think I said ABS code had anything to do with transmission. I believe in stated what the fault code was (ABS) and the dealer ordered transmission parts. Why the dealer stated the transmission needs repair I have no idea. As matter of fact, I’m done here. Thanks

Sorry for my ignorance. The dealer said they ordered transmission parts. Therefore, I can only assume the parts are for the transmission in my Maverick.

The dealer told me they need the truck for a week. I don’t think this a “lean over the fender and turn a screw” repair. I will update as information becomes available.

Our 22 XLT has the original 12v. MaV was delivered late December 21, so battery is at least 44 months old. Guess I’ll bite the bullet and get a new battery. Of course, I’d like an AGM. Optima doesn’t appear to have a replacement. Saw several batteries that fit but unfamiliar with the brand.

My 22 XLT Hybrid does this occasionally. 44,000 miles. It doesn’t seem to be a problem and I don’t care. SFW? It’s the cheapest Ford I’ve ever owned. A little jerky motion in the morning is trivial compared to 40 mpg.

Usually do my own oil/filters change and bumper to bumper underneath inspections. Recent surgery prevented my usual 40k service so took Lil Blacky to the dealer. They didn’t even reset the oil change monitor. Doubt they looked at anything other than the drain plug and filter.
