In case anyone is wondering what the top speed is of the hybrid? I wasn’t driving it. But the person that used it for the weekend found out and it’s 110 mph. (On a closed course )

it's fairly common for a vehicle to be speed-limited to the rating of the tires it wore leaving the factory.

So it wouldn't be surprising if two otherwise identical vehicles, now wearing the same tires, topped out at different speeds.

all Ford trucks including the f150 raptor r are electronically limited to 105 or 109 mph even if their OEM tires have a slightly higher speed rating. (the falken wildpeak at3w on the tremor is h rated.)

120 didn't happen unless you were set to kmh. 😄

ecoboost with a tune can reset the limit to 130 or higher.

The hybrid does not have an obvious tach, but it has a redline.

About 108 MPH.

The traction motor is fixed to the wheel speed at 125 rpm to 1 mph with stock tires.

108 mph = 13,500 rpm.

Edit: 7/9/25 I went full throttle and my generator / MG1 was governed to 12,875 RPM. It would not budge above this.

Corresponds to 103 MPH on the traction motor if they are governed the same.

I WAS NOT at 103 MPH.

I was at 5600 ICE RPM.

I have no need to see how fast this truck will go, because I'll never need to go that fast lol
I pass on 2-lane highways at 100% throttle because I don't want to be in the opposing lane for any longer than it takes. 109 is still plenty for that and a tuned ecoboost gets there in a hurry.

The stock suspension is sketchy at high speed, probably because this wasn't a design goal for Ford. It's made to haul 1500 pounds in the bed and not bottom out, so it's a relatively soft long-travel suspension.

Whats the max boost? I think the highest I've seen is 17.5psi but I have never floored it to see if it'll do any more.

As said it's speed limited to the tire rating. You can use forscan and raise it up to 140. It will do 135

if you have 91+ octane and the knock octane modifier is maxed at 1.000 the stock truck can hit about 21 psi in 4th gear and higher. (edit: if your gauge shows OAR that is probably reversed, negative -1.00 is max/optimal)

It's limited to around 10 psi in 1st gear, and like 2-3 psi when the speed is zero (power braking).

I do use 91 octane and through my AA Torque app I like to monitor the Octane Adjust Ratio. I might be wrong, but I thought negative numbers were good and positive were bad. Not sure. Either way, mine hangs out around -.100 I think (have to double check) and goes to +.1 if I use regular 87 gas.

yeah, OAR is what the value was called on older Ford engines but when the ecoboost 2.0 was revised in 2019, they changed it to KOM. OAR maxes at -1.000.

KOM maxes at positive 1.000. it's possible that your app is reading the value from the ECU and displaying it in the OAR format.

here's a short log from my accessport you can look at as an example if you're curious.

edit: the forum automatically inserted that as a media table. here's the google sheets link: 2.0 ecoboost E30 fuel example log

Fun Fact:

It is illegal to exceed the speed limit to pass.
