I ordered one (and got the discount, thank you).

I assume this fits all trim levels, including Lariat? My 2024 Ecoboost Lariat muffler is much further up which would appear to make this an even easier install.

Newer Mavericks (not sure when it started) don’t have the conventional muffler type resonator. They have a fine screen type that’s no larger than the exhaust pipe.

I guess I did not word that quite correctly, but yes agreed. From what I can see, should still be a pretty easy install on this shield unless I missed something.

Thanks for the clarification!

Hi Ryan
Are there any issues with fitment/installation of this unit when there is a bed storage bin already installed on the driver’s side?

No. I have the driver's side bin and have a home-made shield there. The bin doesn't extend downward enough to be in the way of this installation.

I made my own as well. Was very interested in this solution and even messaged Mabett a few times. Unfortunately their timing didn't work for me. I wanted something in place before the first snow which was October 31.

In for 1! This looks very well thought-out, and appears to be a very complete kit (fasteners, wrenches, etc). I'm looking forward to giving it a go. And with a hybrid, the muffler isn't in the way of the install at all.

Not sure how much I need it as a retired, high & dry, < 50 miles a week, city streets driver. But I do like and appreciate Mabett & have many other great Maverick products. This one seems to address a cost cutting Ford design flaw.

So ordered the shield. Thanks Mabett!

Yeah, luckily I'm much farther south... Mine has worked well for summer off-roading but Mabett's has much better coverage than my solution, so I ordered one. Luckily I had no investment in my solution except a bit of time.

So funny that yesterday I finally put in my own shield and then I see this post. I still will be in for one eventually once my zip ties fail.

Yeah, mine isn't so long-term either. Mabett's looks very complete. I'm looking forward to seeing how it works out!
