Rear Parking Sensors?

The Maverick Luxury package says it includes rear parking sensors. Does anyone know what that’s about?

You have never had a vehicle with rear parking sensors?

I think rear parking sensors are useless when you have a back-up camera. Far better to put this sensors on the front of the vehicle, where you have a blind spot in your view over the hood, and cannot see a parking bumper or other obstruction in the front, since there is no camera. PUT THESE PARKING SENSORS THERE.

I thought so as well. However, here is a window sticker on an XL I found locally today, it shows Rear Parking Sensors as an add on for $260? I don't see that option on Ford's build site, unless I'm missing it. It also shows Daytime Running Lamps for $45?

Well the question becomes are they the Ford sensors and modules or is it some third party package the dealer is installing.

Yes, fleet Maverick XLs seem to all have rear sensors. My local dealer had several.
