My car has manual HVAC controls. You set the fan to blow through the windshield defroster vents, crank the heat to max and hit the a/c button. An air conditioner is also a dehumidifier so it sucks the moisture out of the air. Dry air de-fogs the windshield faster. Once the heater core warms up it really doesn't affect the temperature. Until then, that's what a warm sweater and gloves are for.
Well I learned something new today.

A 6 speed manual transmission.. Yep. This truck would be so fun to drive, AWD, turbo, 6 speed.. Man…
Honestly, the 8 speed auto isn't a bad thing. You stay in the boost between gears whereas you lose boost with a manual. The Maverick has almost the same 0-60 and 1/4 mile times as a stock Focus ST based on Mr Boom's numbers even with the added weight. I can't wait to see how this thing feels behind the wheel.

Well I learned something new today.
Years ago I literally earned the respect of my father in law showing him that trick. We were all crammed in his car on a cold, damp day and the defroster couldn't keep up. I hit told him to hit the a/c button and he about hit the roof with an old school "get the f*ck out of here!" and he wasn't joking because he was having serious trouble seeing through the fog. Then the windshield cleared. He used to give me shit, after that he took me seriously.

I would have bought an Ecoboost if it had three pedals.

Waiting for a hybrid...
I feel you Mr. Mamboman. If I recall, you're of the "invisible clutch" comment elsewhere. Amen, it's a lost art and pleasure that will be regretfully forgotten.

Back seat headrests that fold down. I have this in my current Toyota Tacoma and it helps a lot with rear visibility.
Agree. Mine are in storage under the seat (but the back seat is mostly owned by my German Shepherd and she doesn't need them.)

Nice. Maybe if I complain to Ford about them enough they’ll change the design before mine gets built early next year. 😂

Easy fix for the auto start at a stop light....when you come to a stop...let up on the brakes little and then stop again (creep) and I will shut off. Most of us do it anyways in traffic. At least is has worked in the last 2 vehicles that I've owned that had it.

-A permanent delete for the stop/start function.
-A full screen to replace the screen/cubby hole.
Could make a circuit that replicate pushing the off button every time the vehicle is started. As far a cubby hole. I have decided to add USB outlets.

1) a passenger seat as good as the drivers.
For the life of me I do not understand why so many car makers don’t offer better front passenger seats. In most households the person sitting in that seat has veto rights on the vehicle purchase…wouldn’t it just be easier to sway their opinion with a good saddle? We would all gladly pay for it…
2) rear posi/locker.
3) factory lift.
4) low range like the Renegade has.
5) permanently delete the auto shutoff.
6) push start on XLT.
6) more control programming all the beepers and buzzers.

Front window defrosters, like the back windows (on cars) have. The heater vents don't work fast enough. I wish someone would have figured this out by now.
Ford did have that. Front windshields with a conductive layer that current passed through and cleared the windshield WHEN it worked. They were too big a pia and they were discontinued.

Sirius XM. They'll be upset at the loss of potential customers when they see how well this truck sells.

I'll use my phone, but it is more convenient on vehicle for some people.
