The silhouette looks a bit like my Tremor. Is it an EV?

Looks like a cybertruck, Ranger, and lightning McQueen had a threesome.

As several people commented on that forum, it just doesn't look like a Scout.

Price and range. That is what will matter. If it is competitive with the Maverick on price and has at least 400 miles range, then I might consider. But I have extreme doubts on both.

Damn hooligans are running late on their "big reveal". Reminds me of Musk already.
"Being late is the most offensive and selfish action you can take. You are literally telling the other person you are more important than their time."

Bob's rolling commentary:
Scout Motors completely missing the obvious play to involve either the Boy Scouts or Girl Scouts in their presentation. So far, uninteresting corporate guy is still talking.
*****
Dude is now talking about lean manufacturing. FFS dude, get on with it!!!!
*****
Corporate dude walks off stage. Now playing a video that will likely be flagged by the copyright bots.
*****
Another corporate dude laying down the "story" of the brand. Vehicles behind him. They look suitably "scouty" but they made the last one two years before I was born...
*****
Now getting a graphics arts lesson. Interesting but nothing so far on capabilities.
*****
The SUV looks a lot like the Toyota FJ. (Don't shoot me)
*****
I'm sure there are a ton of old Scout fans that are nerding out over these design details. But I'm not one of them.
*****
5.5' bed. So, more of an F-150 competitor.
*****
Physical buttons and knobs in an EV might be a huge selling point.
*****
Optional front bench. That is actually pretty cool.
*****
First corporate dude is back to talk functionality....eventually.
*****
Body on frame. 10K tow for the truck.
0-60 in 3.5
Mechanical diffs
*****
35" factory tires!!
Actual door handles and not EV nonsense.
120/240 outlets
Frunk a little smaller than Lightning.
NACS (Tesla) charging.
350 mile range.
OTA updates
Split tailgate and cabana top on SUV
*****
"One more thing" (Apple, is that you?)
Harvester: built-in gas range extender, only on SUV. Makes effective range over 500 miles.
*****
$60K (maybe less depending on EV incentives)
Initial production 2027.

Keep in mind that a week ago the CEO of VW warned Germany that the company was two years from collapse if they don't start cutting plants and costs "right now".

https://www.scoutmotors.com/terra

The website is now live. It has the dimensions, and the truck is 230 inches long (the Maverick is 200"). Open those wallets wide, boys and girls - you can reserve your Scout Terra base starting at $60,000 (before incentives).

Or you can just spend a similar amount and buy an updated and widely acclaimed Rivian R1T today.

My take: That's a hard pass on the truck. Range and price and not there for me. The SUV might be interesting with the range extender, depending on the price. More of a competitor to the Bronco. The SUV is 10" longer than the Explorer, so this thing is a beast.
