Messed up the leather seats, looking for advice

That is kinda suspect, is that alcohol damage or Taco Bell high heat aftermath ?

On a serious note, I also have heard good things about the Mabett, but if I were you the Ford one seems like a good price, I would live with it till it gets worse then swap it, but I understand how annoying seeing that can be. ( stares at all my paint pen filled chips )

Regardless of what they are called it is a polyurethane. I think it should be illegal to call it any "leather!" It is a plastic, a polymer.

Have you considered a vinyl sealer from Mohawk? It’s an aerosol can. It might fix it right up, or you may need to spray a coat of satin, they may have satin vinyl sealer. I bet that’d work to touch up the shiny part there. The alcohol probably ate through the finish leaving the shiny unsealed/unfinished/raw plastic/vinyl/pleater underneath which is commonly very shiny. Mohawk vinyl sealer, they may have satin sheen. Hello all,

Hoping someone could point me in a helpful direction. I done did it and messed up the leather on my 24 tremor. I ignorantly followed a leather patch kit guide that recommended using alcohol as a cleaner for the leather seats. I now have a nice dark spot in the leather where the alcohol was applied. Now I know better, but im hoping there's a product that can help restore the darkish grey color that the seats came with. Wishing I had just left the seats alone to begin with as the pinhole that I was trying to fill in was so much less noticeable than the black blob that's now presently in the seat.

Update: Replacement seat covers from Ford are around $140 online. Ill be looking into getting a replacement. Mabetts covers are also on the way. Thank you all.

Yeah, sorry this happened to you. I'd probably try a professional upholstery shop first. See what they say and if they can fix it, how much. If that doesn't work out, I'd look at the Mabett seat cover option. They're pretty close to a factory looking fit. If money is no object then see what options your dealer may have. Good luck. Please keep us informed. I doubt you'll be the only one to have this unfortunate experience.
