What is a good protectant for the cloth/fabric seats?

It's been almost 20 years since I bought a new car. My Beetle had "leather" seats. My Maverick XLT has the fabric seats. What kind of protectant do you recommend? Is Scotch Guard still a good option? I would think that there are better options these days. TIA

If it's super-concerning, there are always seat covers. Scotch-Guard is still very much a thing, that's why they've been around so long, still top pick in most lists/reviews. I have had just fantastic results using Tuff Stuff to clean the occasional spot on fabric seats, or to clean an entire seat if necessary, so I'm planning to wait and see on Scotch Guard or any such protectant.
