I had a wooden box in the bed today. Some slack from the tiedown got loose, and while I was backing into my driveway the tire ran over the tiedown and pinned the wooden box up against the cab leaving this huge dent. Trying to figure out what to do next. Any ideas?

This sucks! Prevent things from sliding around in the bed. Go to Lowes and buy you a heavy duty mat that has the holes in it. I had a spray in liner, but things slid around. I put the rubber mat in and fixed that problem. You can move it around to accommodate your load.

Sorry to see that. Interesting that no one has brought up how does the bed wear over time on a the Maverick unibody compared to the bed on a Ranger that is separate. After seeing that, I'm thinking of cutting a fitted 5/8 in plywood for the headboard.

You could try 2 inch aluminum(sold at home depot) angle cut to it and 3m tape painted or powder coated black. You may need to tap the top down carefully so it's flat or have abode shop just flatten the top out. The crease wood be covered with the angle aluminum . Just an idea...

If it’s a hybrid I’d buy it from you. There’s a heck of a lot worse mine is gonna see over the years

They make so many black stick on spoiler type parts. I’m sure one will be available on the accessories site soon enough. Just kidding. Hammer dent down. Get a piece of L stock aluminum and have it liner sprayed to match and touch up the bare metal at same time. Then attach the new piece.
