More like 1.5 to 2 weeks. A day or so after it gets officially sent to the plant. I believe typical is around a Thu or Fri. For my ‘22, I got the sticker on 6/3 and was built 6/15 (see my signature).I too got the official e-mail yesterday. Apparently their "official notice" employee came back from vacation this week.I called Ford on 10/2, and they said my order had been scheduled, but in the back of my mind I was like, "What if they made a mistake somehow?"
So it's nice to get the official confirmation letter. If I remember correctly, they'll create the window sticker about 2-3 weeks before the build week. Does that sound right?
(Ha ha) Could have looked at my own signature. My window sticker was created 5/4/22 and the production week was 5/16/22.More like 1.5 to 2 weeks. I just noticed your profile. Hi fellow N. Michigander.Like you, this will be our 1st Maverick & brand new vehicle in years. Order is in & now waiting.
NiceDang Mabcim, we originally had the same build week in '22.
The code only matters within your dealership. The default is 19. Some dealers never touch the priority code.Well, with code 19, maybe I will be in Job 2.
You will enjoy it. The ride of a car with the versatility of a truck; it is a great vehicle.Like you, this will be our 1st Maverick & brand new vehicle in years. Order is in & now waiting.
I did chat with Ford. They said, unscheduled, clean.Apparently one hand of Ford has no idea what the other hand is doing. Got an email update today 9/29 from Ford telling me my order is confirmed and they are working on a scheduled build date. I already checked with Ford chat days ago and got my VIN and can see on the order tracking site I'm scheduled for the week of 11/11/24. When I saw the order update today I thought it was going to contain my VIN and build week so all of you who are waiting for the email I'd check with Ford chat or your dealer to see if you are scheduled, don't trust the email.
Yes a fellow Michiganian at mile marker 282.I just noticed your profile. Hi fellow N. Michigander.
We hope it will be a good vehicle for us. Wife did not like the long high hoods on the Tacoma or Tundra. The F-150 was not bad, but I could tell she was still apprehensive about it. The same goes for the RAM. I don’t mind the hoods & I wanted something that can get up and go. Well, I am going to have to settle for a 4 banger and slow down. We are hoping that the smaller area will warm up faster in winter than the Grand Caravan. You will enjoy it. The ride of a car with the versatility of a truck; it is a great vehicle.
With the Luxury Package, you'll be able to do a manual remote start a few minutes before you go out to the truck if you want. That'll heat up/cool down the cabin before you ever get there. We hope it will be a good vehicle for us. Wife did not like the long high hoods on the Tacoma or Tundra.
