Does XL/XLT come with the same wimpy Continental tires that came on pre 2025 XL/XLT models? If so, I will likely have the dealer replace them at delivery.

just get them replaced somewhere else - they're not going to give you any credit for them and your tire choices at the dealer will be limited..and overpriced

No full size spare on Lariat. only a 17" mini or optional 17" full size to go with 19" standard wheel.

I agree. I'm not sure, but I think dealer tires must come through the automaker's OEM contracts as they don't seem to last like those bought through tire dealers. Anyone really know?

The "simplifying" of the order options that Ford has done has made a major impact on certain configurations, as has already been mentioned. I just built a '25 with the same options as the '24 I ordered (XLT/ZX4/4K) and, due to the extra options I must accept to get them (lux, CP360), the '25 would be $3860 more expensive. Yikes!

Granted, those options are probably worth the premium to some, but I'm sure glad I wasn't forced into them.

The only thing I feel is unnecessary is lane centering by itself, but when paired with ACC, it gives you a nice break on the highway (until the hand nanny yells at you)
Lane centering is what causes it actively steer to follow curves in the road (90 deg turns are not possible). It also countersteers into crosswinds, which is a HUGE benefit on my frequent work road trips across this fair, and very windy, state of Kansas.

Our Bronco has ACC without lane centering and it is pretty damn useless. It essentially becomes radar cruise control, which some luxury vehicles started offering in the early 90s.

Yea, that's what I meant. I guess I was thinking of the lane assist, or whatever they call it, that pulls you back to center when driving without cruise. But with ACC, lane centering is nice.

Fair point that I will probably need to sell the new tire takeoffs myself. However, my experience has been my local Ford dealer is a great place to buy tires. YMMV They do sell all major tire brands and offer a 30-day price guarantee. My understanding is they get them from the same warehouse as most tire dealers. I have found them to be cheaper than Tire Rack when you include the mounting, etc.

well that would be good then. I have found that with my continentals I am pretty disappointed. '22 w/ 18k miles - got a nail in one of them, took to the tire place, they measured (i verified) 2 were at 3/32nds and 2 were at 4/32nds. Said that any lower and they wouldn't be able to fix (I would have just done it myself if that was the case). I keep them inflated as they should be - guy said that the extra torque on hybrids causes the early wear. LIkely I'll get a new set before winter. Really didn't expect this so yeah get rid of the conts and sell them off before they hit the pavement.

Sad if you want an XLT in Eruption green and don't want the blackout package you are stuck with the blue interior. Can't be anymore expensive for FORD to offer the black interior which goes with every exterior color option. I'll stick with my Alto Blue 2023 with all the discontinued features.

from day 1 the maverick's navy dash has clashed with several exterior colors. eruption green is less of a clash than hot pepper red, or cyber orange.

the '21 First Edition had 3 colors: area 51 which went great with the navy plastic and navy/tan seats, carbonized grey metallic which was OK, and rapid red (yes, not HPR) which clashed heavily. people still bought rapid red anyway, so I encourage you to think about the other upgrades in MY2025 and if you like it, order Eruption Green.

I see they are calling out adaptive cruise control for 2025 but i thought that was already available as standard on the 2024 lariat tremor model i ordered. Can anyone confirm it's also on the 2024?

Is the Hybrid with AWD setup for flat towing behind RV's?
I've seen this same question asked at least 3 times, including by myself, but no answers.

Wow… 35 pages in 1-2 days. That’s shows some interest.

Can’t believe Ford calls the XLT model the most popular but leaves the sliding rear window off the options list. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Prices are nuts, but I’m a fool for the hybrid AWD. Looks like I’m gonna take the plunge and upgrade from my ‘23 Hybrid.
