Does anyone have the Part #s for the front right/left CV Axles on a fx4/4ktow?

Yes I have the dreaded rumble and am considering doing the work myself instead of dealing with a dealership.

The standards are like 40 and 60$ cheaper , so about $300 out the door.

nz6z3b436b Axle Assembly $111.981$
NZ6Z-3B437-C Shaft Front Axle $113.631$

They were pretty affordable on Tasca auto parts. I will be dissecting the old ones to hopefully see why they fail so early when I swap them.

Any idea if Tremor ones fit on a FX4?

Have you already had to replace a set on a Tremor?

Nope no problems , have this set to cut up for 3 1/2” wider arms I’m making, and on right now is flat out suspension 2” lift coil overs/struts with 255/75/17 Bfg mud terrains . Also have open exhaust with downpipe and tune added . It spins the tires off the line and front power slides around corners easily.
Almost 10k miles on this setup and no problems.

Ford Maverick CV AXLE Part # 2022 Fx4 4k towing IMG_3061

I am the test mule , so we’ll see.
Got to do other arms this week and maybe a good mountain trail run.( desert is 110 right now)
Have also doubled the wheel travel to just over 8” at inside of hub.
Final goal is 12” travel with 2 1/2” reservoir struts fitting 285/70/17 (33”) ,overall 7” wider track and sitting an additional 3-3 1/2” over where I am now .

Working on that , put it out there , I would assist anyone to obtain and install a set so we can compare and see . Would be nice to just settle this once and for all!
So once again anyone in San Diego area wanna swap , I can assist at the cost of the tremor axles.
That would be the pz6z- part numbers .
I don’t see why not ,same trans ,arms, knuckle, etc.
Only spring difference and preload spacer on strut.(maybe 1/2 degree of axle increase on tremor. )
I would love to find someone with jacked stock awd axles that we could then dissect , I do still have a hybrid Brocken axle here I could deboot and check innards.

Before you cut up those CV axles, can you please take any measurements that are relevant to installation? I would love to cross reference them with the set I get in and share my measurements as well. It would be great to get the Tremor axles on an FX4.

How many miles do you have on your tremor?

That thing is sick, cant wait to see the progress of your build!!!

Thank you for posting these part number. I have seen other posts asking for them and at the time no one has them. They just had the fx4 part numbers not the tremor ones.

These part numbers are for the 2 front axles. The rear ones are different as well.

Front axles for Tremor
PZ6Z-3B436-A
PZ6Z-3B437-A

Front axles for AWD and FX4
NZ6Z-3B437-A
NZ6Z-3B436-B

Front axles for FWD
NZ6Z-3B436-A
NZ6Z-3B437-A

The FWD and AWD have the same part number for the left axle.
All Tremor axles are unique to the Tremor.

Rear axles Tremor
PZ6Z-4K138-A
PZ6Z-4K139-A

Rear axles AWD & FX4
NZ6Z-4K138-A
NZ6Z-4K139-A

The hybrid has its own part numbers.

NZ6Z-3B436-F
NZ6Z-3B437-B

Bronco sport has part numbers unique to it and are not shared with the Maverick.

I can find only one part number for the front wheel hub.
NZ6Z-1104-A
If all Maverick types have the same hub it would make the spline count and shaft size that goes in to the hub the same for all models. There are other parts of the cv shaft to be compared but this suggests there may be some compatibility and an upgrade to a higher model part may work.

The rear ones are also more expensive. The only thing I can tell from everyone's posts are the front ones are the ones failing. Haven't heard of a rear set failing yet.

What "rumble" are you talking about, OP?

My front left corner is making a popping sound whenever that corner loads up in a curve. Is this related?

When you accelerate fast when the truck is loaded with some weight or when i accelerate up hill the truck shakes and rumbles and translates through the steering wheel. If I accelerate slow its not profound, its a pretty common symptom for everyone with CV axle issues. And yes I am starting to get that pop as well, its for sure the axle.

The front left axle has a female spline on the inner shaft and my guess there is an engineering issue with this.
