Just what are they playing up there in the sticks?

On the 2nd picture just click the exit button, and it will take you to the default menu of the truck out of Anrdroid Auto.

From there you just need to click the Audio button and select your radio.

Or, press the menu button on the bottom left (from any screen), then press FORD, then AUDIO.

oh they come purely from the tech team developers - they converse and design among themselves, they don't run it by actual regular humans, to them it all makes sense and they MIGHT even put some info in the manual - but not always. The only semi modern application that I have found in the last 10 years is my ROKU tv - it has big old icons and is basic and to the point, everything is logical and makes sense. The fact that the remote has a minimum of keys, the keys are pretty large, and you can maneuver around on their on screen menu and get where you want to go without having to play games is pretty good.

Our ROKU Tv was designed by sadists. When I'm on the channel guide page, I press the up button to go down in channel #'s. As soon as I switch to viewing the actual channels, I have to press down to go down in channels #'s.

That little quirk never gets old.

they should put the infrared eye on each end of the remote - that way we can just rotate the remote control using the same buttons.

This tread is close to my issue so...
I have a 2025 Lariat Hybrid. The large center screen that displays controls for audio, HVAC and so on. FRUSTRATING. My issue for this thread is the voodoo radio source control, or lack of. I have an iPhone and, via bluetooth, CarPlay will load automatically. I think that "Ford Audio" is the term for using the Ford system as the audio source. What happens to me is if I play my music stored on my iPhone via CarPlay, I can't get back to the Ford Audio. There is no physical speaker button in my truck. The vehicle center screen is random. Sometimes the Ford Audio card shows above the CarPlay iPhone card - sometimes not. If I get locked in CarPlay Hell, I have yet to find a way to get back to the Ford Audio. The Home button is no help. If I turn off my iPhone, the Ford Audio card will appear. Is anyone else experiencing this or something similar?

2024 Lariat. I turn 80 next week. No problem with radio setup or linking my phone music via Bluetooth. What’s the big deal?
