Just wanted to let everyone know that the recalls that were supposedly updated to no longer cause trucks to go into limp mode are indeed still causing trucks to go into limp mode. I posted here a few weeks ago about being hesitant to let my dealer do all of the recalls because of all of the trucks having issues after them. Everyone here assured me Ford had fixed the issue with those updates so I went ahead and did them.

Lo and behold a few weeks later it happened to me. Never happened before getting these software recalls done. Now I'm without a truck once again and cannot get to work. Again. If I had any money saved up to get another vehicle after selling this one it would be gone to Carmax next week. I'm done with Ford.
After 14 months no issues with limp mode.

Me: '24 Lariar hybrid early build [#3170]- no recalls done. No issues, no deep sleep, etc.

Deleted the FordPass app. Still get some of the clicking from relays. I now turn my headlight switch to the off positon to preserve my battery between use. Otherwise, all is good and I am happy with my truck.

I haven't had any recall issues either - of course I never had Ford touch the truck and sold it off recently

When I do decide to take mine in for the "fixes" I am going to set up correspondence with my US Representative, so that if I have an issue down the road in a few months they will hear about it 2+ years after purchase.

I had the recall to the recall that is supposed to fix the “Limp Mode” done today. Time will tell if it took care of that issue.

We have the lariat hybrid. Previous recalls went ok, but the latest, for engine fire, resulted in truck shaking on acceleration.

Dealer claimed we had a bent rim. Took it to 2 different tire shops. Both shops said all rims were perfect.

Dealer still replaced "bent" rim. Truck still shook on acceleration. Dealer did not charge for the rim. Said tires were a bit worn. So I got 4 new tires. No change. Still shaking on acceleration.

I don't think dealer knows what to do. Any suggestions on next steps? It's obvious that this is a result of recall work. The problem started right after work was done. Appreciate any help. Thanks.

Likely your CV joints. Your dealer is incompetent. Recommend you find another one.

Sorry about all the problems. I am uncomfortable with electric or hybrid cars and trucks and I realize if you do a lot of city driving they are cheaper to fuel but my ecoboost has not given any drivability problems in 16000 miles and I still get 35+mpg on the highway so I am happy.

Our recall went fine. Tech showed up at our house. it is running great, 6k miles. Also, we tried premium gas (costco, less than mid grade elsewhere) and mpg seems to have gone from low to mid 40's to mid to high 40's.
