My 2023 Maverick Hybrid recall fixed my 12v bed pigtail issue. I installed bed lights and connected them via the pigtail wire assembly that was inserted into the glove box. The bed lights lights worked fine and stayed on for about 45 minutes after I turned off the truck. Then after about a month they would only come on if the key was in the ON position. That was very frustrating. The dealer was no help. This latest recall is my third to do computer updates and dealt with a taillight issue. I just checked and the bed lights are working with no key on. 😎

I feel like there were a few issues fixed in the latest software update. I feel like my auto stop/start is working better too.

Very encouraging.
My A.S.S. likes to shut the engine down for 0.5 seconds every time I stop at a stop sign (most of the traffic control I experience daily).

Are you referring to the 24S24 recall update?

The last computer update/recall I had increased my mpg by about 3. I was averaging 48 mpg, and now I'm averaging 51 mpg. Maybe there's hope for me getting to the 700 mile club after all.

My bad, didn’t pay attention that this was a hybrid post.

You have a 24 Maverick? The 24S24 recall does not apply to the 24 Mavs...
Yes, MY24. Yeah, looks like it is a 24S27 recall that applied to me. They had to recalibrate the recalibration for the tail lights. Either way, any time there is a software update, they install the latest and greatest. If there are other issues that are not safety issues that demand a recall, you still get the most updated software. For those that didn’t do an older recall but waited until after this recall, will still get the latest software. And, EB software is obviously different than Hybrid. Sorry I didn’t pay enough attention to realize it was the hybrid post.

I got 3 pending recall and not planning to do them - my truck works perfectly right now, why would I bother with software upgrade that could cause havoc ?

Because for the most part they make it better. It's not dumb to wait until others have found the issues, reported, and Ford has "fixed them" again. :)

After updates are tested and bugs are worked out, they should make things run better.

I had 3 recalls and an oil change yesterday. So far, everything is working perfectly 🤞

see post #13, I felt the same way as you did, I waited until Ford had the turn signal recall update fixed. I had to have an oil change, so I took the "Leap of Faith" on the recalls.

Basically my game plan. I'll probably wait about another 6 months or so to get these additional recalls done.
