Always right at 2 MPG less than indicated. This morning showed 50.9 over 93 miles, so right at 49mpg actual.

Wow...I have been really trying to get more than 40 mpg. , with going no more than 55 on Highways that have that speed, I try to stay off highway that say 65 or 70. I go no more than speeds in town at all, I keep it in ECO, and work to get it to stay in Electric as much as possible. 40 mpg , usually the truck is about..your right..2 to 3 miles (falsely) better.

This was not even trying. I was doing local rideshare. I do notice a few MPG more in slippery mode, so I've been using it a bit in the last week, including today.

I’ve had min almost 2 months and seems like my MPG is going down. On the hwy get 32-35, on local streets 40-45. Once I got 56 on the 20 miles home from work, haven’t been able to get there lately.

Ford Maverick MPG just keeps getting better on my hybrid. 20240528_214608

Trip home from Walmart tonight. Mostly 55mph road and only a couple lights leaving the parking lot I had to sit at and another after a freeway exit.

I did keep an eye on the mileage and once I cleared one small hill it coasted for a while and stayed in electric mode for quite a while but wouldn't have it I just put my foot into it. But 50mph instead of 55 was a small price to pay for the couple miles it ran before the engine kicked in again.

But that is a 45mph average from key on to key off.

I did my second fillup yesterday, so first run on a full tank.

Ford Maverick MPG just keeps getting better on my hybrid. 1717757286019-l

This tank had no highway miles, and a fair amount of A/C usage.
I was curious about how accurate the "Miles to E" estimate was.
I pumped 13.2gal, specs say it's a 13.8gal tank, so just about 1/2 gal in the tank when I filled up.
About 1/2 of this tank was in normal mode, and 1/2 in Eco.
I'm pretty happy with this, and I think without a lot of effort, this will get better and better as we learn more about how to drive it.

Just got my first 635 mile tank without trying or over filling. City and highway mixed. New fill up says 638 to empty. sitting at 14,000 miles now.
How's your winter MPG?

You also may want to try Slippery mode.
I'm running next few tanks on Slippery. It's really nice mode to drive.
My first 3 full tanks I average a bit over 49, calculated. All on Eco. Mix of highway, small roads and running around town. Truck dash shows just over 51mpg.
I do try to maximize mpg without going crazy with it. Meaning I take off from stop as 'normal'. Meaning I do actively try to get it into electric. So, for example, speed up to crest a hill, coast to engage electric, slowly accelerate under electric. Repeat. I have a dash HUD display that shows when ICE is running (by RPM bar below speed) so I don't bother with the ev coach, etc screens anymore.
I hope to give up my obsession with Mpg soon. Lol

I didn't realize that HUD was an option on these...

It's not. I added a cheap obd one from Amazon. It doesn't work perfectly, as it assumes engine is off when ICE stops running and so then cycles one time through distance traveled and voltage before returning to mph. I like it a lot though

I have to admit... I always want to know when the engine is on and sometimes it it hard to tell.

I use a ScanGaugeIII for similar purpose. EV coach tells you by color when you are using power, but not while regenerating.
