Amazing MPG on my little beast

Hey Y'all...So just got back from a little road trip starting from a little mountain town in Az, Heber-Overgaard to Bisbee Az. The dashboard pic was the return trip and we went from about 5500 ft elevation to 1086 ft in Phoenix baxk up the mountain to about 6800 ft elevation so the trip included quite the mountain roads and hills and check this out. Needless to say I didn't think I could be happier with my little beast purchase but this took my over the top. The other pic is of my 2022 1st edition Lariat EB in Bisbee

Nice! I've noticed the MPG on my 2024 XLT, 2.0L Eco Boost keeps going up. I've had the truck 6 months, with about 6500 miles on it. Initial MPG was 26 MPG, am now averaging 27.2 MPG. I do very little city stop and go driving. Almost all is rural state and local highways and some Interstate driving, mostly in the Adirondacks of NYS.

Went on a 100 mile trip with my 22 XLT FX4 last week and the highway mpg is great unfortunately I do mostly local driving and am happy to get 17/18 mpg I get 32/35 on highway

Not bad for a gas only version, my Hybrid going from southern NM to Kingman AZ with little use of the hybrid function (definitely fast-moving flow of traffic) still managed a 31.9 mpg which surprised me. I will have to take a photo the next time I come down the mountain which is nearby as it was mostly downhill with brakes, not throttle needed and it said a ridiculous 144.5 mpg. Overall though, my per tank mpg was 40.1.

My XL 23 hybrid GETS 42 -44 MPG.!
Which is why I purchased it.
Also it was " a Fordable" 24,000 bucks. You can't buy a car for that low price,,,
