Hard to find EB Ecoboost engine cover found new online

Wanted to share that I took a chance on a recent engine cover purchase and it is an exact fit. After spending weeks trying to find an Ecoboost engine cover on the web, eBay, local salvage yards, Facebook marketplace, I finally decided to roll the dice on a listing on Aliexpress.

Really was not sure how this transaction would go for me, and the part number is not the same as most others have referenced from bronco sports and other compatible models. All in with shipping (from China) cost around $150, and then a couple additional fasteners on top. The delivery from the day I placed my order took about 12 days.

Maybe some will fault this, the idea and/or the cost. But for those, maybe few like me, hope this helps…

I was not really wanting to go this route either, had never ordered from this site before, was my last resort after striking out at every other option. But it worked out, I didn’t have to wait too long and the part fits like a glove, so I am quite pleased.

Just be careful with the payment method you used. Monitor it closely for a while.

I could have saved you the trouble of searching - I purchased the last Ford factory ecoboost cover in existence last summer after having my dealership do a hard target country-wide search

Here is the engine cover I installed and painted from rough country @ $170.00. Plus I did add the little red emblem as well

I bought and installed the Lincoln Cover because I could never find the ford ones in stock! I removed the Lincoln emblem and added a 1970's Maverick fender badge in its place.

So every other ecoboost community removes the to help remove heat for the engine. Now I find myself in the maverick community and they are adding them. And paying big dollars for it. What a bizarre world I live in.

Still have the engine cover on my Focus ST. I upgraded the intercooler on it and will eventually do the same for the Maverick. Bigger and better radiators and intercoolers make a big difference. I doubt the engine cover makes any difference...
